Doing what I can to live up to my last name, Walker. Whether you need a quick drop-in visit or help while you’re away for a weekend, I provide reliable, worry-free care for your pets. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes for 15+ years. I’ve also spent a lot of time volunteering with DuPage Animal Control and Chicago Animal Control, so I’m especially comfortable with large dogs and bully breeds — Chicago shelters were made up of mostly staffy mixes, and I gained extensive hands-on experience there. Long before Rover, I cared for the pets of neighbors, coworkers, and friends, with referrals always being the highest compliment. I’ve adopted Kaiya, my Shiba/Cattledog mix, and Kodi, my Blue Heeler mix, and have used Rover for dog walking and sitting over the years. I’m happy to help guide anyone new to the platform and do my best to assist those who need last-minute help or an extra hand with their pets. If you’re looking for someone reliable, responsible, and genuinely attentive, you’ve found the right person. About me: In my free time, you’ll find me walking dogs, rollerblading, playing pickleball, or caring for other pets. I’m comfortable with overnight stays when needed. My boyfriend works remotely, which gives me added flexibility and availability to help when schedules change. I offer cost adjustments for pets who only use the backyard to potty instead of going on walks, and new clients will have access to a discount code. I also typically don’t charge extra for caring for more than one dog if they can be handled together on a single walk.
