Our worst Rover experience yet, unfortunately. We did a meet and greet with Karen to go over instructions and then I texted her our notes. All of that seemed to go out the window once we left town. I'm not sure what the issue was, but it seemed like Karen was unfamiliar with or unable to use the app. She had trouble messaging us with questions, so we went over text to our regular numbers. She used that to send pictures, which at first was only one of our two cats. She was very difficult to communicate with, so it was hard to understand what the issue was or what I could do to help. Ultimately this caused a lot more stress than it should have for a small trip out of town....but it got worse. One of the main reasons we go through Rover is that one of our cats needs medicine. Karen couldn't figure out which cat was which despite the meet and greet and despite the clarification that one is bigger, the one that needs medicine is skinnier. Their pics are also on the app, but again, that was no help here. The first day she didn't communicate that she was having trouble identifying them. The second day she said she put a scarf on the one that needed medicine which helped me to understand that she either wasn't giving our cat medicine, or she was giving it to the other cat. When I asked her to simply clarify what the heck was going on, she went off about us needing to get tags for our cats because they are too hard to tell apart...and that we should go with someone else next time. You can be sure that we will be taking her up on the second part.

Karen loves animals of all kinds.She has sitted our dog many times and he really loves her. I highly recommend her. She is honest and trustworthy. She's very organized and she's always very patient with our dog.
