TLC for your Fur-Baby
I am missing my sweet Golden Retriever of 11 years (Shayna) having had to let her go after lymphoma took her too soon, recently. I did puppy training classes with my girl and moved into agility training. We loved to explore dog parks, trail systems and of course lots of swimming. I believe that like children, dogs need to know that you enjoy spending time with them. Leaving Shayna when we went away was always a concern. I would prefer to have someone come and stay with her in our home as it was the least stressful for her... but it wasn't always easy to find a friend or family member that could, or would, do that for us. So, I hope that hiring me to do that for you on occasion, would be a blessing. I am bonded and can provide character references upon request. Naturally, I am experienced in dealing with medications and daily treatment of infections etc. as well as daily grooming ie. teethbrushing I am not ready to consider another fur-baby of my own, so I walk alone now. I would be delighted to give your pooch some of the time, exercise and love I have to give.

I cannot say enough good things about Karen! She is hands down 12 stars out of 5. Our boys received premium love and care throughout the entire stay. I am so thankful to have found Karen as she goes above and beyond! Thank you so much!!!
We were in town for a couple hours and Karen took care of my Cola when we were gone. Karen kept me updated the entire time and Cola was happy when we picked him up. We will definitely rebook Karen's day care again next time when we stop by St. Albert. Thank you very much Karen!
We have been so thankful for Karen's care of our little dog, Wesley. Karen is such a lovely caring person and we trust that Wesley is in great hands when he spends time with her. He gets lots of extra cuddles and really developed a bond with Karen quickly. We look forward to his next time with her!

Karen and I met through walking our dogs. Over the years I watched her lovingly interact not only with her own dog but also the dogs of our neighbors. She uses praise to reinforce good behavior and is always aware of her surroundings and the influence it could have on the well-being of the pets in her presence. I highly recommend Karen as I know her to be very reliable and trustworthy.
As a friend who has walked many steps with Karen and her late, beautiful dog companion, I can honestly say that she is an amazing person who will ensure your furry family member will be well looked after and cared for on their walks. Karen is honest and trustworthy and your dog will be happy to have her as a friend, as is my dog.

A typical day
Definitely go for walks through the lovely parks in the area. We have and enclosed off-leash area too that is fun for playing ball/frisbie etc.
