I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by animals, from dogs and cats to just about every creature you’d find on a ranch. That upbringing gave me a natural understanding of different personalities and needs, and a deep love for them all. I’m comfortable caring for pets who need extra attention, whether that’s administering medication, supporting a disability, or helping a shy or nervous animal feel safe. My gentle, quiet nature helps animals relax and settle in, so they can truly feel at home while you’re away.

I was nervous about leaving Raindrop because of new city and 1st time leaving him.but KARA went above and beyond. Her home provided a peaceful, structured environment where my baby felt safe. Kara followed all care instructions meticulously, managed his routine perfectly, and kept me reassured with frequent updates. It’s hard to find someone you truly trust with a high energy puppy , but Kara is a rare gem. 10/10 stars!"

We were traveling to Waterton National Park of Canada by way of Coeur d’Alene. We wanted a place to leave our sweet pup Georgie to allow for flexibility with our friends. I cannot tell you how happy we were to have found Kara. I could tell the minute I walked in the door that Georgie would be a happy camper. On day two she ran to the front door and couldn’t wait to get in the house. We will definitely use Aunty Kara if we’re ever traveling in this area again. I highly recommend her.
Kara was great! My little dog was in safe hands. She walked him and fed him his lunch. We needed someone to take care of him for 2 days and when we returned for the 2nd day's sitting our dog didn't have any trouble being left for a 2nd time. Kara also communicated with us and sent photos. She's very friendly and ready to answer questions.

I have a big, fully fenced backyard, including an amazing dog run in case they need some alone time or need to be away from others. I also have an open home with plenty of room to take long naps in the sun.
