Animals are as unique as humans. I go above and beyond to adapt to every pet and tailor my services to help them feel as comfortable and happy as possible. Getting to spend time with animals is a form of therapy for me and I cherish every minute! I have a deep love for all kinds of animals and they tend to enjoy my calm and playful energy. I grew up in a household with dogs and started petsitting neighbors dogs and cats in childhood. In college I volunteered for both dog and rabbit adoption organizations and fostered animals. Later I adopted two cats and moved into a multi-pet household with other dogs and cats. I currently live in a household full of animals with varying ages and personalities including dogs, cats, and a turtle. I live in a house with two dogs, three cats, one lizard, fish, and one turtle with a large fenced in yard. They all get along despite having different personalities and ages which is a testament to the love and sense of community I instill in them. I have so much fun looking after all of them, playing with them, and giving them their favorite daily treats.

Kara was amazing! She helped us out on super-short notice, for one thing. More importantly, she was great with the animals--she was very thorough during our meet-and-greet, asking all the right questions, and she brought that same diligence to the care of the animals and to her communication with us. She's friendly, responsible, caring, careful, and committed to doing right by the animals. We came home to four happy critters (and a clean house). We look forward to working with her again. I'm sure the dogs do, too.
Kara was super accomodating with my last minute request to take care of MiMi during the holiday season. We were able to meet up before the scheduled time to walk through what would be needed, and she did a great job both with pre-discussed arrangements and adapting to requests on the fly. During visits she was constantly communicative and sent plenty of photos and reports, and I felt like she took great care of MiMi!
Kara was outstanding! My dog Jack is a little nervous around new people. Kara came the day before the drop-in which really helped. He do great with her. Thanks! 5+ stars!
Kara was absolutely amazing with our cat, Tuli! She made sure to meet us beforehand, get to know Tuli, and understand her needs. Throughout the week she cared for her, I could truly feel that she wanted Tuli to feel comfortable — far beyond what you’d expect from a regular pet sitter. She checked on her carefully, paid attention to the little things, and went above and beyond to make sure she feels great. More than anything, I felt she genuinely cared about her. There is no doubt she’s my go-to person anytime I need someone to look after Tuli. I honestly couldn’t recommend her more!

Schedule
I don’t do drop-ins or walks earlier than 9am. I prefer to do meet and greets prior to booking first-time clients to ensure all parties are comfortable — including your pet! It would be an honor to come snuggle/play/feed/love on your furry friend. Shoot me a message and let’s chat!♥️🐾🐶🐱 📝 things to note: • bookings: I have a first to book policy meaning that whoever is first to officially book dates, gets them. • availability: Rover calendar does not always reflect my true availability so just message me to see if I’m available. • prices: what I have posted are my middle of the road prices. Prices are customizable and can go up or down slightly depending on your needs and if it’s a high touch or low touch booking. Happy to include small house tasks such as watering plants, trash service, and mail service within tje advertised rates. • services: highly customizable and diverse so if you have a question or are unsure of fit, reach out and we can discuss it. • cancellation policy: mine is designed to be much more generous than many sitters because I know that things happen. I’m here to support you and you pet when you have a need. If your plans change, I have no issue with you cancelling services. • vaccines: for the safety of myself and the other pets I work with, I kindly request that you are mindful about maintaining vaccines and flea and tick prevention. There are exceptions to this so you reach out if you have a special case.
