I work M- Th teaching and am home F-Su. The only reason I don’t watch animals at my home is I have two dogs, a Japanese Chin named Tonks and a Boston Terrier named Cronk and I don’t want your animal to have to get used to them and stress out more. I also don’t have a fenced in yard. My boys are not runners so there isn’t a need to have one. If you would like me to watch your animal in my home please know, I don’t have the best home or the typical Elko/Spring Creek gorgeous places. I lost everything to cancer and now I’ve in what I could pay off that couldn’t be taken from me: a double wide home on land in spring creek. If your okay with that then your fur baby is more than welcome to come hang with us.

Please let me know if any behaviors or needs your dog has that I need to account for. I will do my best to take the same level of care that you give them by researching. The more info you can give me in advance the better for both of us I think. I do like to know temperament and anxiety levels ahead of time so I know what to expect ahead of time.
A typical day
We will go on walks around the neighborhood. If the owner is okay with it, we will have socialization time and go to Home Depot and Cal Ranch for all the different sites and smells, the splash pad by Petsmart and then if owner approved end with either a McDonald’s ice cream or Starbucks pupcup. If those aren’t ok, we will get an owner approved treat. I also like to take dogs on car rides out to the canyon and take small hikes by the creek. We also like to venture out to Southfork or up to Wildhorse or over to Angel Lake but all of it is dependent on owner comfort.

Hello! I have been taking care of animals my entire life. I love animals. I have been trying to find something to earn a bit of extra income to help pay for a new porch and pay off huge medical debt from cancer and a bone marrow transplant and thought I might as well get to see adorable dogs in the process. I am off for the summer as my normal 9-5 is teaching 7th graders Life Science. I’ve been doing that for 21 years. I figure if I can wrangle 180 7th graders well enough to be the Nevada Teacher of the Year and a national award winner then I can apply those same principals and wrangle your animals. I am dog and cat cpr trained.
