Dog loving empty nesters
Hi, I'm Kallie and dogs have been part of my family since before I was born. I grew up breeding Fox Terriers and have had a variety of breeds in my family over the years. I find myself with an empty nest. My sons are living their lives and both of my beloved Doxies Frank and Studel passed from old age a few years ago. The house is feeling a bit empty. I would love to open my loving home to your dog(s) for a day or an extended stay. I have a large secure backyard, and a grassy park right across the street. I work from home and I'm available to tend to your pups feeding and exercise needs. With no children or other pets in the house and only taking 1 family's pets at a time, you don't need to worry if they will get along with other animals. I will want to meet before agreeing to host to make sure we are compatible. Ideally, I prefer dogs that are house trained and spend most of their time inside, with short walks for nature breaks. I'm happy to give them a lot of attention or let them relax on their own. I allowed my dogs on the couches to snuggle, but I didn't allow them in the bed, mostly because they were bed hogs. Your dog(s) will be allowed on the couches as well unless asked not to. I will respect your rules for your dog(s) and will do our best to keep to your schedule and routines.

Dipsy seemed happy after her stay. Kallie sent a daily update and a picture. They were easy to work with and would book with Kallie and her husband again in the future.

I work part-time from home, with a flexible schedule. I do my best to keep your pets schedule and routine and I'm rarely away from the house for more than a few hours.

I have a fenced backyard and a great neighborhood for walks with minimal interaction with other dogs. My goal is to reinforce the habits and routines you have with your dog, I love when I get detailed information for the visit.
Typowy dzień
I'm happy to take a few walks a day or play fetch or tug of war with your dog or just snuggle on the couch. I enjoy giving treats for tricks or other behaviors you would like to have reinforced.
