From the first veterinary and rescue clinic I worked with, I understood & appreciated my gift as a caretaker. I worked for a local shelter in my hometown, and grew fond of spending time with animals who needed extra love. The work pushed me to examine how we connect with animals. This compassion for taking care of animals expanded in college while I interned and spent time caring for penguins housed in the New England Aquarium. From Boston to Portland, I became a full time caretaker for animals and folks. I am a graduate of Suffolk University, and East West College of the Healing Arts.
