Animal Management & Zoology Grad
I have been around dogs and cats my entire life and have experience caring for pets of all sizes, ages and breeds. I have a degree in Animal Management and Zoology which gives me a science backed understanding of animal care, nutrition, training, health checks, enclosure maintenance and many other animal related subjects. Currently, I work part time at a dog daycare that specializes in puppy development and supporting dogs with behavioral needs, where I also assist with dog training. I also have experience caring for other small pets including rabbits and rodents. I’m also happy to work with more unique or specialized pets that I may have less experience with. I’m always keen to learn and would love to chat with owners to see if I’m a good fit for their pet’s specific needs.

Kaia is a highly recommended walker, she arrived early for our dogs walk to introduce herself and her approach with dogs, which resonated well with us. She is a very calm and cool person, caring and skilled with dogs, and bonded instantly with our anxious schnauzer. She also offered some useful advice after bringing our dog back from the walk. Highly recommended.

Harmonogram
I currently offer drop-ins and dog walking services and am open to house sitting for dogs, cats, and other pets upon request. At the moment, I mainly do dog walks but would love to take on more drop ins, especially for cats and other small pets.

- I am happy to work with any dog, cat or small pet, but I do need to know of any behavioural or health issues in advance. This helps me fully understand your pet's needs and provide the best possible care. I also like to know the normal baseline behavior of your pet's so that I can quickly understand if something is bothering it. Having an understanding of how dog-social your dog is, would also be great as I can tailor walks to particularly dog heavy areas or even bring along my own dog so your's can have some extra playtime.
