I do this for the dogs
As a college student on summer break I will be able to give your pets my undivided attention. I grew up with a Golden Retriever and a Jack Russell Terrier and I became their primary caretakers as they and I got older. Taking care of an old, almost immobile 15 year old golden retriever and the younger ball of energy Jack Russell Terrier was a challenge but through it I learned how to handle the most extreme of pet scenarios. I have also cared for other dogs such as a Cane Corso, French Bulldog, Siberian Husky and more. I truly do love dogs. Now that my childhood dogs have crossed the rainbow bridge I want to help reassure pet parents that their dogs are thriving so they don't have to worry while occupied by other obligations. I will also gladly take your dog(s) with me on hikes or adventures around the DC monuments. I’ll provide you with pictures that are worthy of being put on your fridge!

Kai did great with my dogs. I received messages and pictures of them while I was away and that made me feel comforted.
Kai was an excellent house sitter taking care of my older dog and two energetic cats for a week! He was very communicative and sent a lot of great photos of my animals throughout the stay. I would happily have him back to watch them again.
Kai was amazing with our dogs. Rafa is usually slow to warm but he like Kai right away. And when these tourists got lost and were so late he stayed well after the agreed time. He did great walking them and keeping them entertained.
Kai was great with our dog, and took good care of our place as well. We’ve already got him booked again!

I am a University student with plenty of time and complete flexibility. I will be able to look over your dog 24/7 whenever you need.

I live in a spacious dog-friendly apartment (apartment does not allow Chow Chow, Rottweiler Doberman, German Shepard, Pit Bull, Siberian Huskie, Akita, Alaskan malamute, Shar Pei, Saint Bernard) with a dog park and multiple other parks close by. If you let your dogs on the furniture then I can too, if not, then I will not. If you crate your dog, I can crate them also. If you have any routine you would like me to do with your dog I will be happy to do it. For example, if I need to give them their medication, wash their face folds (bulldogs) or brush their teeth with dog friendly toothpaste then I will. Any stipulations you have for your dogs for the duration of their stay or my visit I will be happy to do upon request.
Typowy dzień
There are multiple large parks nearby I can take them to. I can play fetch with them or bring them to the designated dog area to play with other dogs if they like other dogs. I have a car so I can take the dogs further if they like water or other places if that is ok with the owner. I'll play fetch, tug of war or any other game they like whilst we are home.
