I have known Kabir Cohen his entire life and have always been impressed by his love and care for animals, including pets. Before he got his own dog, Kabir would help take care of my pet dog and was a loving and responsible caregiver; and I always felt secure in leaving my dog with him. He is now a great dog parent to his own dog and he would be an asset to those who wish for him to take care of their loved furry friend.

I'm writing a testimonial for my son, so there's that. But we have a dog who I love more than anything (almost!) and I wouldn't write this for my son if I didn't feel I could recommend him whole heartedly to take care of a pet. And as I've known my son, Kabir, his entire life, I feel uniquely qualified to write this endorsement. We got our dog during covid, when Kabir was 13. Kabir instantly took charge. He loves research, so he read up all he could, and watched many videos on how to train a dog, how to keep them safe. When our dog was first being crate trained, Kabir slept on the carpet next to the crate to reassure Lipi (our dog), if he cried at night. I was working, so Kabir was completely incharge of training Lipi. He took him down every few hours (carrying him as Lipi seemed scared of elevators at the time). He fed him, he played with him. Kabir spend most of his time inside Lipi's play pen, sometimes just lying next to him as he read. My son won't always pick up his socks, but he always always was reliable and responsible for this living being who couldn't speak and fully depended on us. Now Kabir is in college but when he's home, he walks Lipi three times a day, plays catch with him, feeds him his meals on time. I am a single mom with two jobs, so Kabir also takes Lipi for all his vet appointments and administers medication when Lipi needs it. And most of all - loves him more than anything. Kabir has also looked after many dogs of friends and family who have stayed with us. Even the more nervous and reserved dogs gravitate towards him, and Kabir seems to particularly love the dogs who get less attention, or love. Here's a story that is irrelevant to this job but speaks to his deep love for animals. When Kabir was 4, he saw a fish being fileted, and suddenly realized his beloved fish sticks came from an animal. He decided he would be vegetarian and not eat animals. He's almost 20 now, and he's still a vegetarian. Kabir will be responsible, friendly and caring and he truly deeply loves animals, esp dogs so there's that extra thing too.
