Love and security while you're away
I have been an animal advocate since I was a little girl. I'm a firm believer that all creatures experience the same emotions that you and I do. Including fear and confusion. I've fostered an array of animals for over 27years. Always driven to offer comfort. I have experience with cats, dogs (large and small), birds, chickens, snakes, iguanas, birds, fish, ferrets, skunks (yes, skunks), rats, rabbits and even arachnids. I'm experienced with administering medications. And with animals that require patience and special care, whether because of medical conditions or lack of trust in humans from their past experiences. I started pet sitting regularly in 2019. I want to offer as much love, comfort and security as I can in your absence. For the comfort of your fur baby, I prefer to pet sit in your, their home but do pet sit in my own home as well. I have a soft spot for large breed dogs but truly love all animals and am available to care for other pets, like birds, fish, exotics, etc. Extended Stays longer than 7 days can be discussed. I have a full time job which allows well behaved dogs in the office. If your pup stays with me during the week, they will likely join me in the office. All animals in my care will be treated with love and respect. I have experience with scared and feral animals and take my time gaining their trust, which usually doesn't take long. Feedings will depend on the schedule their used to and the instructions you leave me. My goal is to help you keep their routines while you are away. I love being outside, walks, play and fresh air will be plentiful for your pup. Cat boxes get scooped once day, or more if that is what your cat is used to. If they are harness trained, I'm happy to give them time outside, too. I am also a certified Reiki Master working on my Pet Reiki Certification.

This was my first experience with Rover and with Julie and I felt we connected well at our meet and greet then was very happy with her care of my two pups and my home. I highly recommend her for dog and home sitting. She sent me updates and photos which were great to receive and know everything was going good. Auggie and Bella were happy to see me but seemed happy with the love and care Julie gave. Thanks Julie!

Julie is a wonderful pet sitter who takes excellent care of our furry troop! Right off the bat when we first met her we got an excellent first impression. She is very warm and friendly and was great with our pets! When we came home after our weekend away our pets were relaxed and happy. During our time away Julie sent us photos of our babies having fun which was really nice I look forward to booking Julie again in the future!! Julie is wonderful and trustworthy. All our animals love her. She can handle our house with 4 dogs & 2 cats when we are away and has always taken care of any last minute needs.
Julie did a great job for our pets. Above and beyond. Poochie needed his toe nails clipped and Julie took care of it without us asking. She even trained him a little to be calmer while we were gone. She's very comfortable around the animals. Almost like Dr Doolittle-they seem to understand what she wants and vice versa. My kittens, Elsa and Anna, adored her. The cost was an acceptable price, better than quite a few of the others. She's sat for us several times over multiple days. She's such a good person!

Zeitplan
The needs of the animals would determine how my daily routine goes. Pups go outside first thing in the morning, followed by breakfast. Depending on what the day is would determine how the day is spent - might be a visit to my work, or a day in sunshine.

My goal is to disrupt their regular routines as little as possible while you are away. I feel like this is the best way to minimize their stress. For this reason, I prefer to stay at the home of pets but do pet sit cat-friendly pups in my home as well. I do not have a fenced yard so all pups would need to come with a leash. I live on a fairly quiet street where we can go on pleasant walks.

Ein typischer Tag
Depending on the dogs activity level, we may play with a ball or frisbee. Take walks around the neighborhood or my work. If they are social and trained, they are welcome to come to my office with me when I work (one dog at a time).
