Dogs are truly at the center of my daily routine. We typically start the morning with a ~3 mile walk before breakfast to get everyone exercised and mentally stimulated. Throughout the day, dogs have supervised access to my fenced backyard where they can safely play, explore, and relax, along with indoor time for toys, enrichment, and downtime. I work to keep a calm, structured, and engaging environment — whether that means playtime, rest breaks, or one-on-one attention depending on each dog’s energy level and personality. In the evenings, we wind down with another walk (weather permitting), lots of affection, and cozy couch time. I know every dog thrives on consistency, so I’m very intentional about following your dog’s existing routine, feeding schedule, activity level, and any specific needs to make their stay feel as comfortable and familiar as possible.

I have a 3.5-year-old male golden retriever who is extremely friendly, well-socialized, and used to an active lifestyle — we regularly hike, ski, and spend tons of time outdoors. Monty had the best time staying with Julia and Trout. They became fast friends and Monty was one tired happy boy when we picked him up. Julia provided daily updates for added peace of mind. Highly recommend!
Julia did a great job with my dog! She has separation anxiety and Julia was very patient with her and gave us a thorough report of how she did when we picked her up. Trout is also a great playmate!
Julia was fantastic with my dog, Moose! She picked him up and made the whole process really easy and convenient. Moose had such a great time playing with her dog, Trout! They got along really well and spent plenty of time playing with Trout’s toys and outside playing in the snow. Julia also sent lots of photos and updates, which I really appreciated. It was clear Moose was getting tons of love, attention, and care the whole time he was with her. I’d absolutely trust Julia to watch Moose again.
I lived with Julia when she first got her dog, Trout, and I can confidently say she is the best dog owner there is. From day one, she was incredibly attentive, patient, and loving. She has created a warm, safe home that’s perfectly set up for dogs to feel comfortable and happy. Julia truly cares about animals more than anything and treats them like family. Any pet in her care will be deeply loved, well-exercised, and responsibly looked after. I couldn’t recommend her more highly!
