Jillian's Beachwood Staycation!
Hi! I have been caring for dogs for over 20 years and would love to care for your furry family member in my home. My dog care experiences range and include volunteer work at the Orange County Animal Shelter (near my hometown), caring for neighbors' and family friends' pets, and owning 2 chihuahuas mixes and 1 Pom-Shih over the course of my life. I love and adore them like they’re my children. I am familiar and comfortable with sassy behavior traits and have the patience and understanding to give your fur child the best care that I as a dog mom would want for mine. I live in the beautiful Beachwood Canyon neighborhood of the Hollywood Hills which offers a clean and convenient sidewalk with grass and trees for your fur child to enjoy throughout the day. I also live right next to so many nice trails and parks; there’s no shortage of dog friendly activities to do! I happily take them along for any errand I can. I work from home 100% of the time but on the occasions I have to go out for a meeting, I’m away 4 hours at most. I have one 10 lb Pom/Shih Tzu mix named Amalie who loves to play with other dogs but if you’re more comfortable without any other dogs in the home, I will leave my dog with my mom so your fur baby can be 100% alone. Just FYI, the other dog on my profile Yumi is my mom’s dog; I only have one dog (Amalie) at home. I would treat your fur child as my own! Please message me for any questions. A quick note about meet & greets if one is desired: For everyone’s safety and comfort, I don’t do meet & greets inside my home. My dog, Amalie, can be nervous around unfamiliar people and I want to avoid putting any pup in a situation where they may feel uncomfortable or overwhelmed. She gets along much better with dogs than with new people. I’m more than happy to meet outside my home and take a walk around the neighborhood together so the dogs can meet in a neutral, relaxed environment. 🐾 If you’d like to get a better idea of the space your dog will be staying in, I’m also happy to send photos/videos of my home or do a quick FaceTime tour before booking. I’m always happy to answer any questions you may have!

Jillian accepted my last minute request to board Baxter and she couldn’t have been more friendly and reliable! Sent plenty of photos each day and knew he was in great hands.
Bodhi had so much fun on his stay with Jillian!! She easily took our last second request, and we loved getting all the photo updates!
My Tucker seemed to enjoy his day with Jillian. She was responsive and helped me out with my last minute need. She provided me a good update and pictures of Tucker.

Harmonogram
I work 100% remote so I can accommodate all your dog’s needs throughout the day. I usually like to walk them 3-4 times a day. I also have pee pads if they’re trained to go inside. I always clean paws after walk and they are welcome on my bed and any furniture as I would allow for my own fur child.

Each day for your pup includes at least 3 walks around the Beachwood Canyon neighborhood plus unlimited indoor playtime at home. Meal times and food type will be done to your specifications. I will be sure to follow your routines so they are most comfortable.

I love to stimulate our furry friends mentally and physically! I have endless doggie toys, I love to hike or go to the nearby Griffith Park for a day outside, and I have snuffle toys and mats they’ll enjoy!
