I am happy to stay overnight in your house to ensure your animals are well-loved and cared-for, and I will respect your home. If preferred, I can make multiple house-visits a day to feed, walk, play, and/or give your pet plenty of attention. I respect your personal decisions on caring for your pet, and I will abide by any rules you give me for caring for your fur baby.

Please make me aware of any behavioral issues (e.g. resource guarding, excessive barking, jumping). Please let me know how your dog is with new people and with other dogs/animals, and how well they walk on leash (e.g. are they prone to pulling, are they reactive).

I'm happy to take your dog on his/her usual walking route. I can give your dog plenty of pets, play tug of war, play fetch, or whatever games they are used to. I will follow your guidances on any special activities or needs your pet may have.

My name is Jessica and I'm a researcher at UCSF. I grew up with two Dachshunds, a German Shepherd mix and multiple cats, so I have experience with both cats and dogs. In 2021, I adopted a senior kitty named Moffet, and she recently passed at age 17, so I understand the special needs of senior animals. I have experience with in-house petsitting and making house-visits while owners are on vacation. I live and work in Mission Bay, and my schedule is flexible. I can assure you your pet will get lots of love from me!

Jessica cared for my cat, Peridot, during a 10 day vacation I took in early 2023. She sent me lots of pictures, text updates, and overall made me feel like my beloved pet was well cared for. Dot seemed to really like Jessica, too. I highly recommend Jessica West to care for your fur babies.
