20+ years of pet care experience. In high school and college I worked as a vet tech, and at a boarding/daycare/grooming facility. I have also worked with livestock at numerous farms and horse boarding facilities. I now have 1 dog, 3 cats, and a horse of my own. I love building relationships with pets (those that want it) or giving space (for the more nervous and anxious ones). I pride myself on being able to accurately read each pet and knowing what they need.

This is our third time having Jessica over. She is very conscientious, responsive, prompt and responsible. She works hard to befriend our kitties even though they are not cooperative, and we appreciate that a lot! We feel very safe giving her access to our pets and our home! She is a blessing and we’re very thankful!

We had a wonderful experience with Jessica R. over the Thanksgiving weekend! Jessica took excellent care of our three dogs, two cats, and even our daughters’ energetic Goldendoodle. Managing that many pets is no small task, but Jessica handled everything with such calm, capable care. She communicated well with us and with our fur babies. We got regular updates, pet photos, and messages from Jessica that put us completely at ease while we were away. All of the animals were relaxed, happy, and clearly well-loved when we returned home. The house was tidy, food and water stations were clean, and it was obvious that our pets received plenty of attention and affection. We’re so grateful to have found someone we can trust with our furry family, and we will absolutely be booking with Jessica R. again. Highly recommend!

Our two dogs, Rocky and Montana, instantly took to Jess! She has a natural way with animals, and we could tell they adored her. She spent quality time with them, playing and cuddling, and sent us adorable photos of their adventures. We came home to happy, relaxed dogs, and we're so happy we found someone who truly loves animals like Jess does.

Schedule
I work from home and have a very flexible schedule which makes pet sitting amazing! I am able to watch pets while you're away and keep them on whatever schedule best works for them. I'm also available for mid-day let-outs and walks!

I make sure each pet is comfortable around me. If they are happy, energetic pets- I make sure to help them get their energy out so they look forward to seeing me! If they're more reserved and nervous, I make sure to go slow so they do not see me as a threat and I do not try and cloud their space, while also reassuring them I am a safe person.

A typical day
I love playing with the fur babies while I visit! Many of them love to bring me their favorite toy, show me where their favorite spots are on walks, or just get lots of scritches.
