As a pet sitter, it’s essential to gather detailed information about each pet to ensure their care is safe, comfortable, and tailored to their needs. Here’s a list of important things to know: Basic Information 1. Daily Routine: Feeding schedule, portion sizes, and any specific times for walks or playtime. 2. Dietary Restrictions: Foods they should avoid and any special dietary needs. 3. Medical Information: Current medications, medical conditions, allergies, or past health issues. 4. Energy Level: How much activity they need or prefer (e.g., short walks vs. long runs). 8. Favorite Activities: Preferred toys, games, or play styles. Social Preferences 9. Interaction with Others: Comfort level with other pets, strangers, and children. 10. Crate/Leash Training: Familiarity with being crated, leashed, or confined. Home Setup 11. I enjoy staying active, so I’d be happy to take your pup on a refreshing walk or run, tailored to their energy level, anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes. For extra fun, I can take them to the dog park for social time or work on teaching them new tricks to keep their minds sharp! Interactive games like tug-of-war and fetch are always a hit, and I’ve found that dogs also love a good round of hide-and-seek to keep them engaged. With the winter season upon us, I’d be delighted to take your dog out for some playtime in the snow if that’s something they enjoy!
