my retirement: animal rescue + cafe
I was the little girl who’d find abandoned eggs to hatch in my incubator, make a tadpole sanctuary in my portable aquarium, nurse birds with broken wings in shoeboxes, and carry lost kittens home to try to keep them. They’ve never been "just animals" to me—I’ve always connected to creatures in a way that is oftentimes hard with people. With such high regard for animals and pets, I treat every Rover booking as though I am caring for someone's child. I truly enjoy this experience, finding myself more and more grateful for cats' and dogs' ability to heal us, both mentally and physically. I am in my last year of medical school, so I treasure all opportunities for the stress relief that animals provide. In choosing a pet sitter, I hope my medical background can also provide you with some peace of mind while you are away from home. Whether your pet craves affection or has high energy, I strive to provide the care they deserve. My goal is to meet your pet's desires, whatever they may be—cuddling up to watch a movie, playing fetch to burn off some energy, or exploring a new area on a walk. Regarding seniors, I have personal experience with my elderly pet who required special medications and assistance. I find fulfillment in giving unconditional love to these pets during their golden years. I hope to have conveyed my dedication, dependability, and compassion as an animal lover. I am great at following any instructions you may have. I am very clean, organized, and conscientious of your pets’ and home’s general well-being. I am always conscientious about the physical and emotional boundaries of animals. I am skilled at reading both dog and cat body language. I don’t push them if they’re giving signs to back off. I actively search for choking hazards, mitigate escape risks like open doors or loose harnesses, and frequently monitor safety on walks. I ensure that your home is always locked and that the yard/fencing is secure while dogs are outside. I provide regular updates and photos to keep you informed about your pet’s well-being.

Miss Jessica watched all 4 of my dogs, Miss Havisham, Broderick, Gustav and Piper! (2 poodles, 1 Tibetan Mastiff and a chow chow) and she took amazing care of all of them! They all have strict diets and times they need to go out at and she served to all their needs and played with them and sent me pictures and even video called me one night so I could see my precious babies! I don’t normally put my children in the hands of anyone but for some reason I really trusted Jessica. Such a sweet nice young lady! Thank you for taking care of my fur baby’s!!!!!!!!! Love miss. Jesseca did a wonderful job taking care of Freckles. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs a dog sitter.
Jesseca stayed at our house with our two giant babies while we were out if town. She did an excellent job making sure they were taken care of. She communicated with us often and took pics of our pups and sent to us. Definitely recommend her services and will be contacting her again in the future for dog sitting.
Jesseca did an amazing job with our fur baby! Our dog has lots of energy and loves to play, she did a great job keeping her active. Jesseca was quick to respond to any questions or concerns that I had. She also sent lots of pictures to show us how much fun they were having! Jesseca has such a great bubbly personality and very friendly. She took great care of our fur baby and we would definitely use her again in the future. I would highly recommend Jesseca to anyone looking for a great pet sitter!

I am currently on summer break, so I have a relatively open schedule other than studying for a board exam. However, I need more dedicated study breaks with animals!
