Hi! I’ve worked in two doggie daycares, a dog/cat hotel, a dog training facility, as an in-home petsitter for thirteen years for over fifteen families, and as a dog nutrition consultant at a specialty dog food retailer. I’ve also volunteered at shelters and with various rescues around the country, doing everything from kennel cleanup to exercising to transporting to home checks for potential adoptive families. I’ve been riding horses since childhood and am comfortable around livestock, chickens, reptiles, birds, and other exotics. I’ve owned, trained, and cared for dogs from 4lbs to 100+ lbs, from submissive to very dominant/reactive. I can modify my interactions with your dog according to what he or she needs. Available services: -I am a runner and can take your pal on a jog/run, a slow stroll, a hike, or on a pack walk with other dogs. I have a 4yo bull terrier named Tater Tot who can join us on walks, or not, depending on your and your dog’s preference. -I have an SUV and can transport and accompany your dog to appointments or hiking, or from my house to yours/vice versa, etc. Transport fees apply. -At my house, your dog can enjoy comfy furniture, a kiddie pool in the warmer months, a gas stove to curl up in front of, and pretty much constant company. Dates are limited; please inquire. For special cases and dates I may also be able to stay at your place. -Kitties, I haven’t forgotten about you! I’m happy to pop in and feed/medicate/brush/cuddle your feline counterpart(s) if you’re away or unable to; drop-in rates apply. -Have a pet other than a dog or cat? Count me in! Inquire for details. -I am also a freelance photographer and can capture your pet’s personality and milestones, which I have found to be invaluable, especially as they age.
