I work remotely mostly online from my laptop or phone, so pets are rarely left alone aside from brief errands. Dogs are welcome to come along for those unless otherwise requested.

Whether in my home or the owner’s, pets are treated like family. Dogs are never left unattended in the yard, regardless of size. All dogs are walked on their leashes held firmly. Pets are welcome to use their own beds or preferred spaces, and if allowed by their humans ,can sleep on our bed. Care is tailored to each animal’s individual needs/preferred routine and energy level.

If a pet enjoys activity, we can go on walks, including beach walks, hiking trails, and greenbelts. For mental stimulation, I offer puzzles and scent work followed by down time cuddles. For seniors or pets who prefer a calmer pace, I provide gentle, relaxed care, naps, sunbathing, slow walks, a routine tailored to their needs

***Pets must be toddler friendly for house sitting or boarding. Hi, I’m Jess. I have 20+ years of experience with animals, especially dogs, including rescue and hands-on veterinary experience. I can quickly spot signs of illness and understand animal behavior and needs, including basic obedience and behavioral training. I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, fish, birds, and reptiles, and founded a dog rescue that cared for thousands of animals, many requiring 24/7 medical care. I have experience with basic obedience and behavioral training.

Jess was incredibly kind and accommodating.
Jess was beyond amazing! We were a bit nervous about hiring someone we didn’t know but she blew us away with how great she was. She sent us videos of her crate training Stryker as well as teaching him how to sit which we didn’t even ask her to do! She kept us updated with tons of photos. She also cleaned our dishes that we left before she got there and took out our trash which was so sweet. We will 100% be booking with her again! We were able to enjoy our vacation and feel completely comfortable with her there. Thank you so much Jess!!!

Jess is awesome!!!! Based on her extensive experience with animals and being a former Vet Tech, I knew instantly my dog was in excellent hands and I was right. Jess took great care of my Charlotte. She was super conscientious and cared for Charlotte as if she were her own. Also, she respected my home and when I came back everything was as I left it. Jess is a great sitter and care taker of animals! I highly recommend her!!!
