My mom was an animal rehabber. I grew up with 2 golden retrievers, a yellow lab, a wallaby, 2 cats, a BOBCAT (no joke), sugar gliders and 4 rabbits. I can handle any dog. I love all animals. Even reptiles! I am currently a volunteer at Alive Dog Rescue Center on Belmont. My love for animals first started at my mom's old work, I would help clean cages and feed animals at the animal rehab center. I helped to care for turtles, birds of prey, sugar gliders, lizards, and the resident bobcat. I have one black cat and the family yellow Labrador retriever, Abby, is at my mom's. My favorite dog park is the one in Lake Forest/Deerfield. Its the bomb. Huge savannah with ponds and hiking trails. My second favorite place is the dog beach off Irving Park!
