Information Jennifer L. would like to know about your pet
I don’t accept dogs that bark excessively as this causes problems with neighbours. I am also wary of dogs that have separation anxiety so please let me know if your dog has this trait. Is your dog child-friendly? Sometimes I have nephews who stay over so would be helpful to know. I am not suitable to look after young puppies.
A typical day
I usually take dogs to Friary Park for a walk and sometimes Coppett’s Wood accessible on Colney Hatch Lane. I use ball throwers if dogs love chasing the ball. I am also able to take dogs to work in a studio office in Bethnal Green.

Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Jennifer or you can call me Jenno. I am a digital and motion designer working remotely. I have always wanted a dog however I have never got a chance to own one but I really love dogs because of their loving attention and playfulness. I frequently go to my friend's house to look after her two dogs whilst she's off to work and it has always been a pleasure to just have a dog in company. I will never neglect a dog's attention and their needs as they require love and care just like us humans and all living things. I have about 7 years of experience looking after dogs and other animals privately and through DogBuddy/Rover What's the smallest and biggest dog you've looked after? The smallest was a Yorkshire terrier that was about the size of my hand and the biggest was probably a Bullmastiff. I have had the privilege of looking after so many different breeds and it has been so interesting for me. If you book with me, I can assure you that your dogs will be comfortable and happy. I will always take them out for walks daily (at least twice a day), feed them at their usual times and play with them :) I will always keep the dog owners updated via messages and photos. If there are any unexpected problems during your dog's stay, I will notify you straight away. I live with my parents in a quiet neighbourhood in a four bedroom terraced house + a medium sized garden. My house is just a 3 minute walk away from Friary Park and it is a very nice area for dog walking. I live in North Finchley, N12. I can provide the services to local postcodes, generally north London. I am able to come and pick up or drop off your dog(s) if required. I can take up to 2 dogs at once. So please let me know if your dog(s) get along with other dogs or not. I have experience with diabetic dogs and can administer insulin injections twice daily. Please don't hesitate to tell me your required dates and times because I may be able to fit it into my schedule. Please consider that Rover takes 15% commission of sitters’ total price per job. Thanks for looking! My freelance work currently allows me to be very flexible. So I usually do a walk early morning, sometimes a short one around lunchtime and a walk in the evening. And I am always around for your dogs :-) I have a secure fenced garden and always make sure water is always available. I make room for their bed in the living room when they stay over and enjoy their company.
Reviews

Toast can be a bit insecure around new people, and Jennifer was SO patient with him. She gave him the time he needed and he clearly felt comfortable with her. I’d happily recommend her to anyone looking for a walker.

Jennifer was genuinely lovely and clearly cares about dogs. Toast came back happy after his walk. Would happily book again.

Jennifer was incredibly reliable and punctual. Every walk happened exactly as planned, which was a huge help during a busy week. 100% recommend!

Jennifer is honestly the best. I had a very chaotic week at work and needed some last-minute help with walking Toast, and she came to the rescue. She walked him four times, was super reliable, always on time, and communication was great throughout. Toast can be quite insecure when first meeting new people, and Jennifer was incredibly respectful of that. She even went out of her way to get treats to help him warm up to her — which worked perfectly. I REALLY appreciated that extra care and thoughtfulness. clearly a kind person. Thank you so much, Jennifer. I’ll definitely be booking future walks and can’t recommend her enough.
