Dogs are an invaluable source of companionship, love and laughter. They have the ability to cheer us up and let us know we are important. They're a bright spot in the chaos of everyday life. Their friendship and their loyalty can heal wounds, fill blank spaces in our hearts and remind us that the simple things in life are the best--like tennis balls! Growing up with dogs has given me great appreciation of how deeply and extensively canine companionship improves our lives. I spent my childhood raising and training dogs for various working dog roles like hunting/retrieving herding & farm, service companion for PTSD. It is important to me to provide dogs in my care with engaging experiences to keep them physically and mentally stimulated for their long lasting, continued health. Most of my experience has been with large breed dogs, but I am open to caring for all dogs, regardless of breed or size. My particular strengths are in repetitive bonding experiences, in safe environments; and creating relationships based on positive reinforcement of good behaviors. Education and health awareness are my secondary focus, so that I can provide constructive feedback to dog owners, making sure they are aware of how to care and maintain their dogs health and happiness. I pride myself on being creative, easy going, and compassionate. As a writer and an artist with a bachelor's degree in clinical psychology, I have had to blend my strengths and adapt over the years to meet the demands of military life. I love to approach problems with creative solutions, create a relaxed, easy going atmosphere and use my skills and understanding of counseling to provide constructive feedback. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend.

Jennifer did an excellent job taking care of our fur babies! Her communication was outstanding, and we loved all of the pictures and updates she sent while we were away. What we appreciated most were her detailed notes and thoughtful assessment of their behavior and interactions. This was especially helpful and reassuring because we have an Anatolian Shepherd, who can be a little tricky to read. Jennifer was very observant and took the time to understand his personality, body language, and comfort level, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared about our pups and paid attention to the little details. We felt completely confident knowing they were in such capable and caring hands. We would absolutely recommend Jennifer and will definitely use her again!

This was myy first time with a dog sitter and it was beyond my expectations! During Jennifer's meet and greet she took copious notes she shared them with me later. During her stay she was in constant communication which I preferred. Here's where we went beyond she played sniff and puzzle games with my dogs. Helped make adjustments with potty time to greatly reduce accidents that I was struggling with and taught one of my dogs how to sit nicely and not beg during treat time. I highly recommend Jennifer!!!
Loved having Jennifer watching our 3 dogs! When she came over initially for a meet & greet with them, our shy dog Penny who normally hides and barks at strangers went right up to her for attention. While we were gone we got frequent photos and updates. We returned to find a written recap of how the weekend went, and learned that she worked with them on some behavioral training as well. So happy we had her come vs leaving them in a kennel and highly recommend her.
Jennifer was fabulous watching our pups while we were out of town! I didn’t have to worry once and will absolutely use her again. She sent us daily updates and left us a sweet note we came home to.
