Dogs have been part of my life since childhood where I grew up with a golden retriever called Shandy who was the love of my life. I've looked after both giant and small breeds for friends and family over the years. Whether it's a gentle giant who enjoys long walks or a smaller dog who prefers a cosy lap and plenty of attention, I understand that every dog has their own personality and routine. I'm reliable, calm and caring, and I'll treat your dog as if they were my own. Having worked in professional client-facing roles throughout my career and now as a counsellor and psychotherapist, I'm naturally patient, attentive and good at building trust – qualities that dogs (and their owners!) seem to appreciate. I'm comfortable with feeding routines, administering basic medications, providing regular walks, playtime and plenty of companionship. I know how important it is to have peace of mind when you're away, so I'll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can see how your dog is getting on. Whether your dog loves adventure, cuddles on the sofa, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy and well cared for.
