Hugo's Leisurely Lounge has moved to the country! Woof! Does your canine free-loader...er, doggie-best-friend-precious-baby-tater-punkin need a comfy and chill enviro as the ONLY DOG ON THE FARM while you are vacationing? Hugo's New Country Lounge might be the place for you. My name is Jenny and a few years ago, my dear sweet giant sometimes-annoying-but-always-the-best Hugo crossed the rainbow bridge. His passing left a hole in my heart and an emptiness in my home. I'll never want to replace my couch potato Hugo (the sofa-king king), but would love to once again have canine companionship and will treat your fur baby as my favorite honored guest. I moved from my home in Raleigh and now live in rural Alabama with my elderly but spry dad (who loves all animals). I work part-time from home and have ample time to attend to your little lounger's individual needs. I no longer have a fenced in yard, but your sweet heart angel baby could enjoy naps on the couch, watching Dog TV on a big screen, taking leashed, supervised walks in the country, and sleeping in the bed with me if your precious pumpkin so desires! My flexible work hours make it extra easy for me to pamper your pet and accommodate its daily routine. If I am available to board your doggo, I will only board your doggo. Rest assured, your angel-baby-cakes-puppy-love will be my only dog during its stay. I have experience with all sizes and ages of dogs and I love them all! My only restrictions are that my doggie guests must be adult, neutered/spayed, and not aggressive. Come join the fun and relax at Hugo's New Country Lounge!

Another great stay for Harper!
Jennifer is very responsive and caring. She took great care of my Harper! Frequent updates and followed all care instructions. Will gladly use Jennifer again.
Jenny is AMAZING! My senior little lady normally dislikes other people and she fell in love with Jenny. She was asking to be pet by Jenny in front of me when I came for pick up. I’ve had several dog sitters over the last 10 years and Jenny is the best. She cares deeply for the dogs in her care and it shows.
Jenny was the best!! I can tell my Buddy felt so comfortable and happy with her! She has a wonderful back yard where she let him live his best life scaring off the birds and squirrels 😂 she consistently sent me message updates with pictures and even videos! I just hope she’s free for future visits! 10/10!
Jenny took amazing care of our boy. She sent frequent pictures and updates, and made us feel reassured that our boy was in good hands . We absolutely will be booking with her again!!
Highly recommend Jennifer! Hate leaving our anxious dog when we go away, but knew he was in a loving and safe home the whole time with great communication and photos!

Harmonogram
I live with my 90-year-old father in an old house in the country. We have donkeys and gardens and a lot of space, but no fenced in yard. However, I work part-time from my computer at home and set my own hours, so I am available all day, pretty much every day. Yep. My life is that boring. But, my flexible work hours make it extra easy for me to pamper your pet and accommodate its daily routine.

I have no pets or children. Your dog-baby will have free range of the inside of the house and is allowed on any and all furniture (as long as you are okay with it). I can take your dog on short or long leashed walks around the farm as often as you think your dog needs (or if your dog looks at me all cute and then looks meaningfully at the door).

I am not all that into activities. If your dog needs a lot of high-energy play or ball-chasing from me, you should probably look elsewhere. I do, however, enjoy giving ear scratches and the occasional belly rub. If your fur-baby needs me, I am absolutely here for them! Otherwise, I think it is nice to just chill together. It might take a while for your dog to adapt to my unfamiliar presence and get as lazy around me as Hugo was, but I will do what I can to ease your furry friend's mind and help them pass the time away from you safely and pleasantly!
