I’m a recent empty nester who grew up with a black Lab, a Collie mix, and a mutt. My favorite Siamese cat, Tiger, lived to 23. I have undergraduate degrees in biology and psychology from Seattle Pacific University and a masters in pharmacology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. My love of food science compels me to experiment with new recipes. My most recent forays involve bread-baking and candy making, so I offer these homemade goodies as an add-on service. Imagine coming home to contented pets, a clean kitchen and fresh baked sourdough bread. For house-sitting stays of 3+ nights you can opt in for a batch of sea salt caramels, with or without the Kentucky bourbon.

• I am a ghost writer with flexible, remote hours. Having animals to tend gets me up from the computer at regular intervals. As a recent empty nester, I am available for multiple daily drop-in visits within my service area.

Regarding doggy daycare service, we live in the Surfside Estates development, off of Banana River Drive N, at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. I enjoy playing fetch, throwing a frisbee, or when it’s hot out, simply curling up with a book, dog by my side, or cat in my lap.

- Let me know special dietary or exercise needs, accommodations for handicaps, whether he has been rescued or deals with PTSD, any special trigger words or habits that help him feel at ease, and how he behaves around a cat. Does he shiver uncontrollably at thunder? Do thunder jackets work better for him than being held? I want to know whatever details he would tell me if he could speak.
