I have a large 2 bedroom apartment with covered balcony space and an accompanying studio space in the building next door, meaning lots of enriched indoor space dedicated for the care of your pet (or pets if you have multiple). I live within a 5 min walk of off leash dog parks, beach front trails and Stanley park. My home is a haven for a variety of pets with a focus on enrichment toys and puzzles for dogs and cats

Jaylen has been a thoughtful and accommodating caretaker for my elderly cat many times throughout the past few years. Cooper isn’t the most amicable of cats but was quick to warm up to Jay. I’ve taken several long trips away from home and left my cat and fish in their capable hands and have never had any issues. Highly recommend!
Jaylen looked after my dog, Mia, for two nights, and I couldn't be happier with the care she received. From the very beginning, I felt completely at ease knowing Mia was in such great hands. Jaylen went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable, happy, and exercised. I especially loved receiving the frequent photo and video updates throughout the weekend. It was incredibly reassuring to see Mia looking so content and relaxed, which truly speaks volumes about Jaylen's natural connection with dogs. Mia returned home happy, healthy, and thoroughly spoiled. I will absolutely be booking with Jaylen again in the future!

Pet care fits naturally into my daily life. As a work-from-home entrepreneur, I have the flexibility to set my own schedule and structure my days around the needs of the animals in my care. This means pets receive plenty of attention, regular bathroom breaks, exercise, enrichment, and companionship throughout the day rather than being left alone for long periods. I’m also an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys walking, hiking, and exploring local parks and trails. For active dogs, that means plenty of opportunities for adventure and exercise. For pets who prefer a slower pace, I’m equally happy providing calm companionship, playtime, and routine-focused care at home. Because I work independently, I can adapt my schedule to maintain consistency with your pet’s existing routines, helping them feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while you’re away.
