Dogs are a non-negotiable part of my life, I take every opportunity I can to say hello to every dog I meet. Since moving to Aberdeen to study dentistry, I have been renting and as such am unable to have a pet of my own. I spend time with my friends’ pets when I can and sometimes pet sit when she’s out of town. I like to run on the beach because people always have their dogs out and it makes my day when they come up and say hi to me. At home in Ireland, I have 2 Jack Russells, Sasha and Banjo, and have lived with a golden retriever in Australia for a year (Thelma). All of my friends have dogs including a three-legged rescue named Colin. Since moving here, I’ve really missed having dogs around and think that helping to walk or pet-sit would fill that void for me.
