Raised on a farm, animal-loving guy
I grew up on a farm in Tennessee and always had multiple dogs in our house. We had everything from Great Danes/Great Pyrenees to Boston Terriers. While I have a wide range of knowledge on various animals and I love caring for dogs! I've personally lived with probably over 10 different dogs, each with different personalities. Professionally, I've walked dogs for a couple years and really enjoy it! I love getting out and exercising in the sun myself and I think it's just as important for animals as well! If requested, I would love to send you videos/pictures from our walks. I know I would like to see my dog throughout the day so I would love to send you as many updates/images as you would like! Also, during my walks I pay attention to the dog's energy level so that if a rest is needed we can take one. Also each of my walks comes with a complimentary belly-rub. Free of charge! Off the top of my head, I've had experience in the following: Administering injected/oral medication, Doggie Masseuse (nothing professional, just a hobby that I used on my personal dogs), Potty Training, Leash-training, Puppy-care, and elderly-dog care. I've done more things, those are just off the top of my head. Feel free to ask if you have any questions about my experience with certain things!

I’ve watched dogs in a wide range of environments. I follow your instructions and ensure the dogs are kept safe. I strive to keep both dog and home safe. I usually go a bit above what is normal just to be safe (crossing the road when another dog is approaching, making sure to cover the doorway when I’m exiting so the dog doesn’t slip out, etc.)

James is a great house sitter, and he loves the animals. He really has a good time with them. They love him. He is very dependable and responsible, always sending photos of our pets. We appreciate his great service.
Great experience! James was completely in control and the pets loved him. Very satisfying and allowed us to really enjoy our trip. There was nothing to worry about and he sent pictures and kept us updated daily.
James was awesome! Such a friendly and upbeat person. He accepted my super last minute request which I really appreciate, asked all the right questions about little Della and I felt great leaving her with him. I appreciated his text updates and was able to totally relax while I was out - I'm very neurotic about my puppy so that was a big deal! Would for sure hire again.
James was really good with our cat. I think he got used to our cat fast, and we are happy with his service!

Schedule
I currently am working full time (8 hours, 5 days a week). I’m off every Sunday (perfect for your weekend getaways!) and can request an additional day off if needed! So I can do a long three day weekend if that helps.
