I work from home for the majority of the time with the occasional travel to the office in Manchester or London. My work is very flexible and I am able to ensure the care of all dogs that stay with me including daily walks, good company, and general comfort.

Pets that come to stay with me are treated as if they were my own. This includes being able to sleep on the furniture (if that is what you allow in your own home). They will have plenty of opportunity to go for walks and loo breaks and feeding in line with their existing schedule. I’ve had lots of bookings through rover so I’m confident that my environment is dog friendly and safe. Overall I want dogs to enjoy the time they spend with me and repeat bookings have shown this through their general excitement when coming to stay!

I love to go out for walks in the middle of the day and there are plenty of green spaces near my house for us to go and explore! In addition, I love playing games with dogs and I make sure I have plenty to mentally stimulate your dog throughout the day.

My family have two lovely black labs and my grandparents have had a variety of different rescue dogs that I have helped care for. I enjoy going for walks with my friends and their dogs and would love a dog of my own in the future. I have cared for dogs of all ages, from puppies to elderly dogs aged 14+. Through Rover I have gained a lot of experience caring for younger dogs and have received great feedback from owners for my attentiveness to their needs as well as assisting with training and socialising during this critical stage in a dogs life. I am currently working full time, remotely from home. I can be available at any time during the day provided enough notice. I would love the company of a dog in the daytime and happy to take them for a walk during their stay. I live in a flat on a private road of terraced houses. My flat is very safe and dog-proof which has been tested through numerous puppies coming to stay. There is lots of green space surrounding my property and many parks nearby.

James is great - really helpful, communicative and looked after Sil brilliantly in a heatwave. We've used him before and we'll use him again - Sil is a happy dog!
James was great - communicative, punctual, went out of his way to be helpful and Sil loved him. It was our first time using Rover and we will defo use James again.
Picked up our Labrador this morning from James, he has spent the last week with him. We cannot rate James highly enough for the communication and pictures sent during Murphy’s stay. It kept us updated and reassured all was well. Murphy settled in quickly with no issues. We will definitely be using James again when we’re next in need.
James has looked after our golden retriever Walter on numerous occasions now, and is just great with him! He keeps us updated with regular photos and Walter clearly always has a great time during his stay, with plenty of walks and settles in so well. James has been such a reliable and trustworthy dog sitter, we’re always so grateful for him taking such good care of our dog!
