I’m a stay-at-home mom, so my daily routine is basically built around the pets. Since I’m home 21–22 hours a day, they’re rarely alone and get to be my little shadows while I'm going about my day. We spend a lot of time hanging out in our big, fenced-in yard or just relaxing inside. Because I’m here full-time, it’s easy for me to keep up with their usual habits—like medicine on time, regular potty breaks, or keeping the litter boxes clean. I get attached to our guests pretty quickly, so they’ll get plenty of attention and won't just be sitting in a corner. They really just become part of the family while they're here.

My home is set up so every guest feels safe and comfortable. We have a half-acre with a privacy-fenced backyard for plenty of supervised outdoor time, and inside, I have separate rooms available. This allows me to give pets their own quiet space or rotate "house time" if they aren't social with others. Since I'm home almost 24/7, I can easily handle specialized needs like bottle-feeding, senior mobility help, or strict medication schedules. Whether they are playing in the yard or napping in their own area, they are treated like our own pets from the moment they walk in.

Information Jacquelyn A. would like to know about your pet
To make sure your pet has the best stay possible, please let me know: Social Comfort: How do they do around other dogs and cats? Medical Needs: Are there any current medications, allergies, or mobility issues I should be aware of? Feeding Habits: Do they have a specific schedule, or are they prone to "resource guarding" (protecting their food or toys)? Safety Quirks: Are they a "flight risk" or a jumper/digger? (Even with my privacy fence, I like to be extra cautious!) Potty Routine: Are they fully house-trained, or do they have a specific "signal" when they need to go out? Fears/Triggers: Do they have any anxieties with loud noises like thunder or specific types of handling? The more I know about their quirks and "house rules," the easier it is for me to make them feel right at home!

Yard Time, Cuddles, and Enrichment Since I have a privacy-fenced yard, my dog guests get plenty of supervised outdoor time to sniff around, run, and play. Whether it's a game of fetch or just lounging in the grass, they get to burn off energy safely. We have a ball launcher our lab uses that is quite easy to teach other dogs to use as well. All the fetch, none of the sore arms! For my cat guests and smaller pets, the fun is all about one-on-one attention. I love to get on their level for: Interactive Play: Using feather wands and toys for cats, or providing enrichment for birds and ferrets. Spoiling & Snuggles: I get attached quickly, so there is never a shortage of lap time or head scratches. Mental Stimulation: I love using my experience with different species to keep them engaged, whether that’s specialized "out-of-cage" time for small pets or quiet bonding for my senior guests. Basically, if they have a favorite way to play or relax, that’s exactly what I’ll do!

Reviews

My dog had a great time with with Jacquely and her family. I really appreciated her flexibility and how well she and her family took care of my dog. Would highly recommend her services.

Jacquelyn took great care of our dog for 2 weeks - sent updates every day! My dog had a blast with her dogs and loved her perfect backyard! Would 100% book again!

We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Buddy stayed with Jacky for eight days, and from the very first day we knew he was in great hands. Every morning he was excited to go to her, which says everything about how comfortable and happy he felt with her. Jacky took wonderful care of him, kept him active, and made sure he felt safe and loved throughout his stay. It was such a relief knowing that Buddy was being cared for by someone so reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring. Communication was excellent, everything went smoothly, and Buddy came home happy and tired every day. We are incredibly grateful for the care and attention Jacky gave him and would trust her with Buddy again without hesitation. Highly recommended – 5 stars all the way

Jacquelyn is awesome! She is very communicative, accommodating, and sends plenty of pictures and updates throughout the day. Setting up a meet and greet beforehand was a breeze as well.
