Senior Support: I have a deep heart for seniors. Having cared for my own deaf Lab with severe mobility issues and night confusion, I am experienced with ramps, gentle lifting techniques, and managing "sundowning" anxiety. Neonatal Expertise: Extensive history with rescue work, including bottle/tube feeding day-old kittens and administering specialized meds. A Safe & Flexible Home Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities: The Yard: We have a half-acre lot with a large, secure privacy-fenced backyard for supervised exploration. Customized Space: I have separate rooms available for pets who need their own quiet space. I can easily schedule separate outdoor and house time to accommodate different temperaments or energy levels. Diverse Experience: Beyond dogs and cats, I am experienced with chickens, ducks, ferrets, birds, and small mammals. Whether your pet is a high-energy pup, a delicate newborn, or a sweet senior needing a gentle hand, they will find a safe, expert home with me.

I highly recommend Jacquelyn for the care of your pet! I have a trip in the future that will require me to board my 10 year old pug. Her previous boarding facility treated her well but she came home very tired. Jacquelyn’s profile on Rover is outstanding so I decided to place a booking with her. Because my dog had never boarded at anyone’s home I decided to book a couple of doggie daycare sessions with her. Jacquelyn was wonderful, very caring and careful with my senior dog. She sent photos of my dog resting comfortably in her home and happily exploring her backyard. Thank you, Jacquelyn!!

Jackie was absolutely amazing! She was so attentive and gave daily updates on our boy. We had to extend his stay last minute and she generously accepted without hesitation. She ensured he was medicated, fed, played with and well rested his entire stay. I highly recommend her to take great care of your fur baby!

Jacquelyn was absolutely amazing with our sweet girl!! We got so many pictures and so many updates on Twiggy and it put my dog mom heart at ease! Twiggy had fun with her family and other dogs that were there! Never left her with someone that long before (besides deployment) and I can confidently say that I would trust Jacquelyn to take care of our sweet girl in the future, too!

Schedule
I’m a stay-at-home mom, so my daily routine is basically built around the pets. Since I’m home 21–22 hours a day, they’re rarely alone and get to be my little shadows while I'm going about my day. We spend a lot of time hanging out in our big, fenced-in yard or just relaxing inside. Because I’m here full-time, it’s easy for me to keep up with their usual habits—like medicine on time, regular potty breaks, or keeping the litter boxes clean. I get attached to our guests pretty quickly, so they’ll get plenty of attention and won't just be sitting in a corner. They really just become part of the family while they're here.

My home is set up so every guest feels safe and comfortable. We have a half-acre with a privacy-fenced backyard for plenty of supervised outdoor time, and inside, I have separate rooms available. This allows me to give pets their own quiet space or rotate "house time" if they aren't social with others. Since I'm home almost 24/7, I can easily handle specialized needs like bottle-feeding, senior mobility help, or strict medication schedules. Whether they are playing in the yard or napping in their own area, they are treated like our own pets from the moment they walk in.

A typical day
Yard Time, Cuddles, and Enrichment Since I have a privacy-fenced yard, my dog guests get plenty of supervised outdoor time to sniff around, run, and play. Whether it's a game of fetch or just lounging in the grass, they get to burn off energy safely. We have a ball launcher our lab uses that is quite easy to teach other dogs to use as well. All the fetch, none of the sore arms! For my cat guests and smaller pets, the fun is all about one-on-one attention. I love to get on their level for: Interactive Play: Using feather wands and toys for cats, or providing enrichment for birds and ferrets. Spoiling & Snuggles: I get attached quickly, so there is never a shortage of lap time or head scratches. Mental Stimulation: I love using my experience with different species to keep them engaged, whether that’s specialized "out-of-cage" time for small pets or quiet bonding for my senior guests. Basically, if they have a favorite way to play or relax, that’s exactly what I’ll do!
