I currently work in a hybrid role, with standard hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm. I work from home for most of the week, with one fixed office day on Tuesday and a second office day that I can choose, giving me flexibility to plan my schedule around pet sitting bookings whenever possible. When working from home, I'm able to provide plenty of company, regular toilet breaks, walks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. Outside of my working hours, I'm fully available during evenings and weekends, allowing me to dedicate even more time to exercising, playing with, and caring for your pet. I'm organised, reliable, and committed to making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can have complete peace of mind while you're away.

Whether caring for pets in my own home or in a pet owner’s home, I always prioritise safety, routine, and making pets feel as comfortable as possible. I understand that every animal is different, so I take the time to learn their usual routine, exercise needs, feeding schedule, and any medical or behavioural requirements to help them feel settled and secure. Coming from a veterinary background and with experience working in a veterinary practice, I’m confident recognising signs of stress or illness and ensuring pets receive attentive, responsible care at all times. I’m also experienced with administering routines and following owner instructions carefully. When house sitting, I treat every home with respect and keep owners updated regularly with messages and photos for peace of mind. I aim to maintain a calm, loving environment where pets receive plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and companionship while their owners are away.

I’m happy caring for most breeds of dogs, as well as cats and other small pets. I always like to have a quick chat before bookings to go over their routine, personality, and any preferences or special requirements so I can make sure they feel comfortable and settled in my care.
A typical day
Every pet is unique, and I love tailoring care and activities to suit their personality, routine, and energy levels. Some dogs enjoy long walks with plenty of sniffing and exploring, while others prefer playing fetch, relaxing with cuddles, or spending time in the garden. I always make sure pets get lots of attention, exercise, companionship, and affection throughout the day so they feel happy and comfortable while their owners are away. My own dog is completely tennis-ball obsessed, so I’m very used to energetic play sessions in between walks too! Whether it’s adventure walks, calm company at home, or sticking closely to a pet’s normal routine, I aim to create a fun, safe, and relaxed environment for every animal I care for.

I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have extensive hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. Coming from a family of vets, animal care has always been a huge part of my life, and I’ve also spent several years working in a veterinary practice, helping care for and nurse a wide range of animals. I have plenty of experience with dog walking, house sitting, and caring for pets both through Rover and independently. Having owned dogs my whole life, I’m confident with walking, training, administering routines, and making sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I also have experience caring for cats and smaller pets, including my own cat and tortoise. I understand how important it is to leave your pets with someone trustworthy and attentive, and I always aim to provide reliable care, regular updates, and lots of affection so both pets and owners feel completely at ease.

Izzie was able to take on a booking quite last minute for my old dog Liesel, and when Liesel was also a bit unwell with a dodgy stomach. Izzie was brilliant, lots of great communication and managed Liesel's sickness which I can imagine wasn't the most fun to deal with! Highly recommend :)
Izzie has been wonderful in looking after our dog. She’s been great in terms of communication, our dog clearly loves her and is at ease with her straight away as well. She left our house immaculate after the house sitting. We’d definitely book with Izzie again.
My dogs loved having Izzie look after them and take them for long walks. I am sure the cats did as well, though they hid from Izzie. I would definitely use Izzie again.
