I've been around animals my whole life and have been caring for them since I was old enough to be home alone. Growing up, we always had at least one dog or cat (sometimes both!), so looking after pets just comes naturally to me. After high school, my family added chickens and ducks to the mix, and every summer when my parents traveled, I ran the whole show solo, feeding and caring for dogs, cats, chickens, and ducks all on my own. It was basically a little farm and I loved every second of it. I also have experience with elderly and special needs animals, including administering insulin injections to my family's senior cat, so if your pet has medical needs, I'm comfortable and confident handling that with care. I genuinely love spending time with animals, not just checking boxes.
