Pet care experience
I am Isla, I am 20yrs old.
I have recently moved to Germany from Scotland to live with my partner who is in the German army, I am still learning German so I don't speak german too well, but am learning. I am trying to find a job to get myself started with my life here :) I have a certificate as an animal nursing assistant which I earned in 2025. I have work experience of working in a vet practice and a kennels back in the UK which I done whilst in college. I have experience with dogs and cats primarily as I had ones of my own in Scotland. I am looking to have a future with animals, so doing pet sitting, walking etc. would help plenty towards my future here in Germany. I am located in Kempen, I can drive but would rather find places local which I don’t have to drive too far to as I am still adapting to driving in Germany after driving in the UK. I hope a language barrier won't ruin my chances, I am very good with animals and enjoy working with them thoroughly. So thank you if you consider me doing work for you.

Personally I would preferably go to the owners home to take care of pets as I don't want to bring animals to an unfamiliar environment so much. But I live in an apartment block, the apartment being fairly small with a balcony, there is plenty of surrounding areas that have places to walk. I can have pets in the apartment but they must be toilet trained and well behaved, as in they wont destroy anything within the apartment. Within a clients home though, I would make sure to be respectful of the property and would clean up after myself, take care of the animals, interact with them and do what is needed of me.

Schedule
I am currently not doing any work whatsoever and have recently moved to Germany to pursue my life here. I am aiming to go down a career path to do with animals so this would give me a good head start as I am still learning the language here and have little knowledge of German language still.
