Availability
In undertaking my studies remotely, I am available 24/7, whether for dog walks, boarding or check in visits. I also have access to a car, so when dogs come to stay we often do trips to the Pentlands, beach and woodlands.

Safety, trust & environment
I understand that (albeit the love I have to give) every dog is different, whether outgoing, timid or cautious. I want to build a relationship with the dogs I look after, getting to know their personalities and how I can help them. I would be lying if I said this was all about the dog, it’s also about me. I’m looking for dogs I can give love to, bounce off and have as a companion. I want to help bring dogs the love they deserve.

Information Isabelle S. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special requirements/personality traits. I want to make sure they are as comfortable as possible and that I adapt to suit them. If your dog is on the larger side and has trouble with stairs, this may be an issue as I am on the second floor, however I can easily carry smaller dogs up.
A typical day
I go on two walks every days (when I first wake up before I begin my day, and on my lunch break) and so adding a dog into this routine is such a bonus. I can also go on walks in the afternoon and evening. I love playing games and training dogs, whether this be bettering basic commands or bettering recall and lead pulling. I know how to make fun lick matts and ice treats and I’m always researching fun new stimulating tasks for different breeds.

Someone who simply loves dogs
Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Izzie and I adore all animals. I grew up with everything (dogs, cats, rodents, fish and reptiles!). I moved to Edi 7 years ago now and truly miss having an animal companion. I recently left my job and now study at the University of Law remotely from Edinburgh. This means I am available 24/7, whether for a dog walk, full board, check in or house sit. Back home I had a gorgeous spaniel called Ziggy and I am looking to look after some dogs to add that extra serotonin to my day and hopefully return it to some gorgeous dog's. I live in a spacious flat with a fenced garden right next to Arthur’s seat and 5 minutes from the meadows. I love going on walks, runs and hikes and I am very active. With my studies being remote, I am in the flat all day so I am very flexible to cater to any dogs needs. I have experience with dogs of all ages (including dog sitting puppies as young as 10 weeks old up to 19 year old dogs), sizes (sausage dogs up to Great Danes) and temperaments. I also have experience administering medication to dogs and dealing with elderly dogs and incontinents.
Reviews

Isabelle was so great with Jude and seemed to really treat him like her own, which is so reassuring to know he’s in good hands. Communication was great from start to finish and will definitely be using her again in future

Isabelle has been wonderful with Oliver. Leaving your baby with someone is never easy, but we always feel so comfortable leaving Oliver in her care because we know he is genuinely loved and looked after so well. Oliver is always happy and relaxed with her, and that means the world to us. Thank you for taking such amazing care of our sweet boy and for always making us feel so reassured while we’re away. You are truly appreciated!

We absolutely adore Isabella! Her communication was impeccable and her love for our boy was palpable. She constantly sent pictures and my baby felt safe and loved. She and her family treated him like family and we’ll always be grateful for that. We needed to extend his stay by a night and she was delighted to have him there. This made me feel incredibly at peace. We’d absolutely love for our boy to stay with her again. Thank you so much 💙💙

Thank you Isabelle (and your flat mates !) for looking after Cindy. We have been really lucky with meeting lots of lovely dogs sitters on Rover however Isabelle was truly stand out. Cindy was very engaged with her from their initial meeting. Lots of pictures and nice videos were received during the stay and these kept me happy ! Cindy appeared to be on adventures daily and loving it. Isabelle is very knowledgeable about dogs and experienced which put me at ease. Would highly recommend reaching out if you need pet care and if needed I would certainly look to re book with Isabelle.
