Experienced Animal Caretaker
I've grown up around dogs and cats, but my professional experience with animals started when I was sixteen. I worked for the Northshore Humane Society as an adoptions counselor until I graduated high school and left to attend LSU! Since then, I've volunteered with several animal rescue organizations and dabbled in wildlife rehabilitation as well. I've worked with animals with behavioral difficulties (ex. anxiety, leash aggression) and special needs (ex. neurological issues, blindness/deafness, dementia). I've also worked with dogs and cats of all ages (except nursing puppies) and have a bit of experience with fish and turtles. But if you have any questions about whether I'll be a good fit for your furry (or scaly or feathery) friend, please don't hesitate to reach out!

I always keep dogs on-leash or in a fenced backyard, for their comfort and safety as well as my own. I will avoid interactions between your pet and anyone outside of your household until explicitly told otherwise (basically, your neighbor needs your stamp of approval before saying hello to your pet!). I am also familiar with and can do crate training.

Harmonogram
During the week, I have a full-time job that frequently sends me out of town. Because of this, I do not book any services for new clients during the weekday. If you are a repeat client, please feel free to ask about weekday services! I can't promise I will have availability but when I am free on weekdays, repeat clients are my priority.
