A cozy home away from home
Hi! I’m an experienced dog parent with over 15 years of experience raising playful pups and caring for senior dogs. After saying goodbye to my beloved lab mixes, I opened my home (and fully fenced backyard!) to dogs who need a safe, calm, and loving place to stay. I provide one-on-one care, usually taking only one dog at a time so each guest gets plenty of attention, consistency, and a low-stress environment. I’m also happy to care for two dogs from the same family so they can stay together. Your dog will get my full attention, companionship, and a relaxed home setting where they’re treated like family. Looking forward to meeting your furry family member!

Ingrid’s home was the perfect setting for our senior Boston. She was extremely accommodating with drop off/pick up times and very thorough with personality/behaviour/routine/schedule inquiries & care instructions. She sent photos and updates while we away - it was evident he was well loved & taken care of! We will definitely leave our pup in Ingrid’s care the next time we are away! Thank you Ingrid & G :)
Ingrid did a fantastic job looking after my dog. She was very accommodating with my inconvenient times and sent photos and made sure he was safe. I’ll be using Ingrid again for the next time I’m away!

Harmonogram
On weekdays, your pup will have plenty of outdoor time in our fully fenced yard for fresh air and play, along with a calm indoor space for rest and downtime. Evening walks around the neighbourhood are part of the daily routine. On weekends, dogs are welcome to join us on family outings to the forest or beach for extra enrichment and adventure.

I am sensitive to the needs of anxious dogs and always prioritize safety and trust. Your pup will have a calm, caring place to relax and feel at home. They are welcome to lounge on the couch if that is something they are used to doing. That said, all guests must be comfortable around small children. My 4-year-old was raised around dogs and knows the drill, but for everyone’s safety and peace of mind, I can only accept dogs who are gentle and trustworthy with kids.

Fun activities can include neighborhood walks, playing fetch, day trips to the beach or hiking on local trails with the family. And of course backyard sniffs and snuggles on the couch.

- It is extremely important for us to know if your dog is okay with a small human around. If they are a digger, chewer, or escape artist, so we can keep an appropriate eye on the yard. Velcro dogs are welcome, but let us know so we can schedule appropriately. And of course the standard feeding and walking schedules, etc.
