Dog lover in early retirement would like help...
I had dogs in my family until I got married and left home at 21 years old. In recent years my son and daughter have got a Beagle and Collie respectively and I frequently take them when they go away for long weekends or holidays. My sister has also had dogs for many years though my visits thee are less frequent as she lives further away. She has just got a poodle puppy, photo in that section.

Was very happy leaving Millie with Ian. She was very well looked after and gave me peace of mind that she was ok whilst we were away.
Ian was fab! Spud was very well looked after and we were updated throughout, with photos. Ian was a great communicator over the time and very attentive with responses. Looking forward to using Ian again soon!
Ian and his family are brilliant with our greyhound and he always loves to stay with them. They have a very friendly but gentle dog who is a great companion for our dog. Ian has always been very accommodating with pickup and dropoff times and has always taken a great interest in the particular needs of our dog. He is very accommodating when it comes to sleeping arrangements and they have a lovely comfortable home with great quiet walks on their doorstep. We feel very happy leaving our dog with Ian regularly and would never hesitate to recommend him.
Ian looked after our greyhound for us and had a good knowledge of the breed having looked after a number of others before. Ian was really knowledgeable and loved dogs. He has a lovely home with lots of space and a secure enclosed garden for our dog to enjoy and keep cool on an extremely hot summer day. Ian was really accommodating to our dog's needs and our boy felt right at home straight away. Thank you Ian for a lovely stay. We were able to fully relax knowing our boy was in good hands. 10/10 recommend!
My dog had a lovely day with Ian and was tired and happy when she got home.
My dog had a lovely stay with Ian for a week while I was on holiday. Ian looked after her beautifully and she came home tired but happy. I would definitely use Ian again.

Schedule
I left my job in November last year and considering early retirement. I am 58. This means I can be very flexible to others needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a cul de sac away from traffic. I have a large mature garden that is fully secure and access to lots of nearby walking areas for dogs such as woods etc.
