Karma my golden retriever and I are best friends. She is my sidekick. When I'm not with her, I'm a teacher at an elementary school. I taught kindergarten for 20 years and now serve as our building's behavior specialist. Like students, pets need a positive warm environment where their brains and bodies can be challenged and kept busy. Karma and I share a home with our two teenagers, two cats, and a room full of reptiles (my son's babies). To my children and I, our pets are our babies and a part of our family. They do not only share our home, they hold our hearts. I understand puppy phases and training and also care for senior pets. As a full-time teacher, I am available on school breaks (SUMMER!) and weekends for boarding and pet-sitting. During the school year, weekends and afternoon/evening check-ins are my availability. We have a two story home. A baby gate keeps dogs downstairs where we keep all items picked-up and dog-friendly. Hardwood floors and leather furtniture, ensure that pet hair and messes are easy to clean - as we like our pets to hangout with us. We also have a fully fenced yard, with a shade sun mix. A chain link dog kennel is available outside, if needed.
