I'm currently working part-time and manage a small business with my husband. Both are relatively flexible, especially if planned more than 1 week prior. Generally afternoons (after 1pm) are flexible. With advance planning, I can be available earlier in the day too.

I can visit your home to care for your pets. If you have dogs and want me to provide exercise (walk or backyard play session), I can do so based on your preference. If you would like, I can also check on things inside such as water/food, or any other requested services (that I am able to provide).

A typical day
When watching dogs or caring for my own, the activities we do will vary a bit based on the needs/preferences of the dogs and their humans! I enjoy playing with dogs (fetch or other challenge) and talking for walks (casual sniffs or exercise) to help meet their physical and mental needs for stimulation. Before leaving, I try to get them to calm down, either laying down in a designated "safe" spot - i.e. dog bed, couch (if allowed), or crate (if used).

Pet care experience
I have been a dog lover for much of my life! Growing up we had cats and smaller breed dogs. I begged my parents to allow me to watch our neighbors' dogs when they left town, and I was the go-to caretaker of our family's pets. As an adult, I have cared for 3 dogs of my own and currently we have 2 larger breed dogs. We adopted all of our dogs as puppies so I understand the adorable puppy moments, as well as the moments where puppies can be extra work. I've owned dogs into their senior years and how there can be limitation considerations and potentially and care required for health needs that come with age.
