I follow your instructions carefully, ensuring feeding times, exercise, and play are consistent with what they’re used to. I’m mindful of your pet’s unique needs, whether they require extra attention, medication, or gentle handling. I also make sure your home is respected and kept tidy, with food bowls, litter boxes, or play areas cleaned regularly. My goal is to provide the same level of care and comfort I give to my own pets, whether they’re in my home or yours. Every pet deserves love, patience, and individualized care, and I’m here to make sure they feel safe and happy.

Each visit includes quality time based on what your pet enjoys most—whether that’s a cozy cuddle session, a fun game of fetch, or some quiet companionship for more reserved pets. I’ll also provide updates and photos, so you can feel at ease knowing your furry friend is in good hands. Every pet is unique, and I tailor each visit to their personality and energy level. Playful pups might enjoy a game of fetch in your yard or a short walk to stretch their legs, while more relaxed dogs may prefer belly rubs and gentle pets. For cats, I love engaging them with interactive toys, laser pointers, or a simple chin scratch if that’s more their style. If your pet is shy or needs extra patience, I’m happy to give them space while offering quiet reassurance. No matter their personality, I’ll make sure they feel loved, entertained, and comfortable until you return home!

I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Currently, I share my home with six rescue pets—two large-breed dogs (a Bullmastiff mix and an Anatolian Shepherd mix) and four beloved cats. My experiences include providing special care to my senior, large-breed dog and nursing a kitty through bladder stone treatment. I’ve had the privilege of fostering 18 cats through the Laramie Animal Welfare Society, many of whom needed gentle coaxing to overcome shyness or past trauma. My time volunteering with Best Friends Animal Society and the Cheyenne Animal Shelter further solidified my dedication to pet care. At Cheyenne, I spent four years walking dogs, socializing cats, and even organizing a fundraiser for the shelter. My pet-sitting journey began when I was 16, caring for friends’ and teachers’ dogs. Growing up, I helped care for family pets and often attended dog trials with my dad, where I developed a deep respect for training and animal behavior. Whether your pet needs extra patience, special care, or just a lot of love, I’m here to help. I look forward to meeting your furry family members and providing them with the same level of care I’d give my own!

Heather is great with our dog Memphis and she also takes good care of our chickens. Her enthusiasm and caring make us feel that our home and critters are in good hands. The peace of mind we have with her in our home allows us to truly enjoy our adventures.
We were very happy with the caring attention gave our dog (Memphis) and chickens. This was a short overnight to see if everyone was okay with the arrangement. We will be taking a week long Cruise in September and Heather will be here taking care of things. We were very happy with the caring attention gave our dog (Memphis) and chickens. Heather was prompt and friendly. She sent pictures and she seemed to truly enjoy her time here. Memphis is quite taken with her and we will be booking with her again.
