My family has owned either cat, dog or both since before I was born and I myself was a momma to two great little rabbits for a time. Currently, and collectively we have 1 cat and 6 dogs (they aren't always under the same roof, but it has occurred and it was beautiful chaos). I do not own any pet of my own at the moment, but can assure that I am the best pet sibling aunt and sitter! I love animals with all my heart and am 100% devoted to their happiness and health. I believe that animals were put on this earth to remind us what true, unconditional love is when we sometimes forget. They have as many feelings as we do, and communicate it in their own special way. Its my personal mission to understand that language and give the unconditional love right back to them. While pets have always been present in my life, I've been most involved in the care taking of my two rabbits Gwen and Norma and in helping my sister with her 3 dogs, all of whom were rescue dogs or strays we took in (1 black lab/border collie mix-2yo, 1 black lab/american bull dog mix-2yo, and 1 border collie/basenji mix-9mo). While it was a full house, we were able to manage eating and walking schedules, medicine for allergies and surgeries, and giving all 3 dogs the attention and love they deserve. Sometimes I would take care of the 3 on my own if my sister was out of town so its I can confidently say that I can look after multiple dogs/cats at the same time and am skilled in multitasking. For me this is the perfect side job because I get to spend my free time in the very best of company!
