I work from home, so my dog gets a minimum of 3 walks around the neighborhood and we often go to a local dog park too after work. I’m rarely away from home for more than 4 hours at a time.

My fenced in patio is open for potty breaks, but I usually do a minimum of 3 walks per day around my neighborhood. I’m also happy to bring them to dog parks for socialization. Since I have a dog myself, there will also be plenty of socialization at home.

Information Hanah C. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preferences, including pitties and other 'aggressive' breeds. I know that dogs are individuals just like humans, and treat each one as such. I would like to know any quirks or things to watch out for on walks (i.e. 'he will pull really hard on the lease if he sees a squirrel' or 'she loves this stuffed animal', etc) and of course any relevant medical or behavioral issues I should be aware of.
A typical day
I’m flexible to whatever the pets enjoy: if they like balls I’ve got a “chucker”, if they like toys I’ve got all kinds: stuffies, squeekies, rope toys, etc. we can also go to parks or the beach if they have good recall.

Pet care experience
I have grown up my whole life with dogs, and I am very comfortable around all types. I have volunteered at the Dane County Humane Society as an Adoption Counselor while in college, so I have undergone behavior training for many aspects of dog care. I am familiar with walking dogs on leases, with harnesses, using commands, as well as resource guarding, jumpy/mouthy/mounting behavior, shy/fearfulness, and escape artists. I only use positive reinforcement for training. I have an educational background in genetics and public health, and I am involved in my local religious community as well. I’ve lived in OC for about 3 years now, having moved from the Midwest. In my spare time I’m learning to crochet, and I love playing with my dog Pax, a chihuahua/pomeranian mix whom I’ve recently adopted. I work from home, so am around most of the day, and have a small fenced in patio for potty breaks between walks. I’m a fan of the local dog parks, and will bring your dog there with your permission.
Reviews

It was great to find Hanah close to where we live. Initially I was worried with leaving Fluffy when I was planning a vacation but she took away all the worries from my head by taking good care of Fluffy who is diabetic and needed medication and food at a particular time. Thank you Hanah. I would go with her again.
Hanah was wonderful with our dog, Flower! She updated us daily with pictures--it was obvious Flower was having a great time and was being very well taken care of. We will definitely go to Hanah again!
