Loving Care and Beach Adventures!
Hi there! My husband, Jerry, and I have been dogsitting in our home since we met over 11 years ago. We also have been walking the dogs at the animal shelter weekly for the past 4 years so we have tons of experience working with dogs of different sizes and temperaments and I swear Jerry has proven himself to be a dog whisperer with those challenging ones. We live in Lincoln City, mere blocks away from the beach and tons of wooded hiking trails so, if you have an adventure dog, they will be over the moon happy here. We have two dogs of our own, so your dog would have to be dog friendly if staying in our home. Mowgli is a very sweet 18 lb mixed breed who loved to go out for adventures and Gimlet is a very sweet 24 lb, elderly mixed breed who is more low key and who knows how to gently correct behaviors when needed. I am a Realtor with a flexible schedule and Jerry is a stay at home dog dad, so we are essentially available to care for your beloved pet 24/7. Needless to say, we LOVE animals! We also have experience caring for cats and other small critters and would be happy to do so in your home, but only dogs in ours. Whether your pup is high or low energy, young or old, we will provide them with as much love and adventure as they desire. We look forward to meeting your pet and to welcoming them to our home.

Jerry was so awesome with Charlie!
Jerry did some in home doggie (and kitty) daycare for us in our vacation rental. He was very attentive to our old man as well as provided some good, long walks with the puppy. He was also very sweet and accommodating when we were a bit late upon return due to traffic. He was warm, professional and patient with everyone involved. Would definitely recommend.
Gwen and Jerry took incredible care of my girl! We all took a walk beforehand with their dog and another staying over to get acquainted. I got updates and photos during her stay. I completely trust and recommend these folks. They are awesome, thoughtful caregivers.
Gwen and Jerry were perfect!! We came from out of town needed a quick afternoon daycare while we spent the day out on the water. They walked our pup, and spent the day on the beach with him, some of his favorite activities. 100% recommend
Jerry and Gwen were great! My pup has a lot of energy and they took her to the beach, played fetch and sent me lots of pictures. She was well exercised and happy when I picked her up, thanks guys!

Zeitplan
We live for our dogs. I am a Realtor with a flexible schedule and Jerry is home full time with the dogs. I usually provide the morning walks and feedings and Jerry provides the outings and feedings later in the day on the days I have showings or am meeting with clients. We often take the whole crew out together. The dogs in our home are spoiled , cared for, and entertained.

Our home is surrounded by woods on three sides and there is only one other home next to ours. Our back yard is lightly fenced in with deer fencing material, but if your instructions are to keep your dog on leash for potties, that is what we will do. They will be let out into the yard frequently and will get walked throughout the day. We will follow whatever instructions you give us. We have cared for pets with pretty severe medical/medication needs and diet restrictions and will cater to your pet's individual needs.

Ein typischer Tag
A typical day in our household starts with a hearty breakfast after the dogs do their morning business, followed by a 30 minute trail walk. We hang out and snuggle while I do work for a bit, then Jerry and I take them out on our big adventure. Depending on the weather and tidal conditions, that could mean a beach walk, a forest hike, or laps around the outlets (3 times around equals about a mile). We then come home for lunch and the dogs hang out with us in the house for a while. Depending on the dog's energy levels, they usually get one more outing which could be a shorter walk, a fetch session, or a trip to a dog friendly store if it is nasty out. Then we return home for dinner and are in for the night.
