I am a lifelong animal lover with extensive experience caring for dogs, cats and even horses. Having owned and cared for pets throughout my life, I am comfortable with all aspects of pet care, including feeding, administering medications, exercise, and companionship. I recently retired from law enforcement, serving as a lieutenant. During my career, I supervised animal control operations and played a key role in the developments of the city's Second Chance No-Kill Animal Shelter. This experience provided me with a unique understanding of animal welfare, responsible pet ownership, and the importance of providing compassionate, attentive care for animals of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. In addition to my hands-on experience, all my dogs have successfully completed various American Kennel Club (AKC) Training courses, to include Basic Obedience, Intermediate Obedience and Canine Good Citizen programs. This training has strengthened my understanding of canine behavior, communications, and positive reinforcement techniques. I am dependable, trustworthy, and highly responsible. I understand that pets are valued members of the family. My goal is to ensure that every pet in my care feels safe, comfortable, and loved while providing owners with peace of mind knowing their companions are in capable hands.
