Grace was so sweet and very communicative! She would update me on how both my dogs were doing and would send pictures! She even took both my dogs out for walks and her runs! I can’t say enough good things about her! I really look forward to having her look after my boys next time we go out of town! Thanks so much Grace!

Grace Pflaum is a responsible and compassionate caregiver who is attentive to animals’ needs and creates a safe, nurturing environment where pets feel comfortable and well cared for. Gracie has a strong and extended background in pet care. Throughout her childhood and into the young adult years, she was surrounded by dogs, large and small from Aussies to Bulldogs to Chow /Pitbull mix and Chihuahua rescues, to Maltese/Shih tzus, felines, rabbits, hamsters and of course fish! Many of these critters were under the same roof at the same time and cared for by Grace. Grace had the opportunity to assist in the successful home birth and after care for both the mother and the two Mal-shi pups. She purposely rescued twin black cats from the cat shelter to ensure the brothers, Oscar and Felix, remained together as a family. Neighbors could depend on Grace in high school for both animal care of their pets as well as house sitting while they were on holiday. She would leave detailed notes of her visits for the Owner so they could rest assured of the timing and details of each visit. One Neighbor had Frank! Frank was a large tabby with diabetes. Grace was the only one in the neighborhood who was fearless enough to take on subcutaneous insulin shots twice a day for Frank! Not only is Grace a gentle soul but also quite capable as well! In college, she continued her love and interest for animals by volunteering at the Arizona Humane Society where she worked her way up from cleaning cages to special handling of new rescues. With her strong and calming presence and astute ability to read dog cues, she was asked for her interaction assessment for the demeanor of the rescue to ensure a proper match and a successful forever home placement for both the new owner and the rescue. Naturally nurturing and deeply affectionate towards all pets, Grace will be a wonderful resource for you and your critters of any kind.
