Pet care experience
A home away from home for your dog!
I’ve always loved dogs, maybe a little dog mad if you ask my friends and family! I grew up helping to raise our family dog, and since buying my own home, I’ve welcomed a little pup of my own who has been the greatest joy. I have lots of experience with dog sitting after using borrow my doggy a while before deciding to get our own. Now Pepper is older and trained, I am ready to accept more furry friends into our life. I also have a strong understanding of different dog breeds, their individual traits, behaviours and specific care and exercise needs. Because of our lovely Pepper, I can only accept dogs that are good with other dogs, especially younger dogs. I feel lucky to be self-employed who works from home, which means I get to spend most of my day with my dog! It's something I’m incredibly grateful for. It also gives me the flexibility and free time to help other dog owners who need someone they can trust to care for their pup while they’re busy, at work or away. I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person looking after your dog. I’ll treat every pup that stays with me as if they were my own, with plenty of attention, affection, walks, playtime and, of course, cuddles. I also have a strong understanding of dog training and enjoy reinforcing good behaviour and basic training in a positive, consistent way. My aim is to provide a relaxed, loving home-from-home where your dog can feel safe, happy and part of the family while they’re with me. ❤️

Georgia looked after my dog Scooby when we went away on holiday and she was absolutely brilliant. She would send updates daily of what he was getting up to, and took him on new routes and walks. I trust her completely and would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for someone to take care of their dog- Georgia will love them like her own!
Georgia is amazing, she has looked after our dog Buster multiple times and we always feel reassured and happy with her care. Buster always comes home very pleased with all his walks and holiday! ☺️
Georgia looked after our 2 miniature dachshunds whilst our family was away, very happy and we were kept updated the whole time we were away, would definitely recommend

Schedule
Being self-employed and working from home means I can structure my day in a way that works around the dogs in my care. I’m an early bird, so we’re usually up and outside early for walks and fresh air. I love being outdoors, and we’re fortunate to have access to secure parks and open fields nearby, which means my own pup gets plenty of exercise, stimulation and fulfilment throughout the day and any dogs staying with me would be included in that routine if they are able. This flexibility also means I can easily adapt my schedule to suit each dog’s needs, whether that’s regular walks, playtime, toilet breaks or just quiet company throughout the day. I’m very much a home girl, so dogs are never left alone for long periods.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I want every dog staying with me to feel safe, comfortable and completely at home. I have a secure garden where dogs can enjoy plenty of fresh air, playtime and regular toilet breaks throughout the day, and as I work from home, I’m able to keep a close eye on them and give them lots of company and attention. For walks, I have 3 different length leads, so I can adapt depending on each dog and their needs. If your dog’s recall isn’t quite there or you simply aren’t comfortable with them being off lead, that’s absolutely fine they can still have plenty of freedom to sniff, explore and enjoy their walks while staying safely on a longer lead. I also have my own friendly Cavapoo - Pepper , so visiting dogs will have a little companion to keep them company. I’ll always make sure introductions are comfortable and take each dog’s personality and boundaries into consideration. There are plenty of dog beds around the house for when they want some quiet time, although dogs are very much part of the family in my home so they’re more than welcome to curl up on the sofa with us too! I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine, including feeding times, walks, medication and any other instructions you have. I’d also love to know all their little quirks, likes and dislikes so I can make their stay feel as familiar and relaxed as possible. I’m always happy to send photos and updates so you can see what your pup has been getting up to and know they’re safe, happy and being well looked after.

A typical day
I believe that dogs are most fulfilled and happy when they can just be dogs! For my own dog, I prioritise lots of off lead walks so she can sniff, explore, and play. I understand that not all dogs have great re call or reactivity and owners may feel more comfortable with their dogs on leads in my care. I have a 5,10,15 & 30ft leads so they can still get some freedom. I am lucky to have access to a secure training field nearby too. I am happy to follow whatever preferences an owner may have for their dog to make sure they are having the best time in my care but also to keep safe. I also like to add in lots of playing, training or sniff games if it is a high energy dog to really mentally stimulate them. I am also down for just cuddles too!
