Your Go-To Pet Sitter & Walker

https://www.rover.com/sit/geethk04148 Use this to get $20 off your first booking. I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember — fostering puppies and kittens, helping them find loving forever homes, and caring for my own pets over the years. I grew up with a gentle Labrador who will always hold a special place in my heart, and I now have a spirited 6-month-old Miniature Pinscher mix rescue who keeps me on my toes and fills my days with joy. My experience ranges from raising playful puppies and kittens to caring for older dogs and cats, and I understand the patience, attention, and consistency they need. I’ve even traveled multiple times with my own dog between Florida and other states, so I know how to keep pets comfortable and secure in different environments. While I’m new to Rover and don’t yet have reviews, I bring dedication, reliability, and genuine love for animals to every job. If trusted with your pet, I’ll treat them like my own — ensuring they’re safe, happy, and cared for as if you never left.

Schedule

I work from home full-time, which means your pet will get plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. From regular walks and play sessions to cuddle breaks and feeding schedules, I can be there for your furry friend every step of the way. Their comfort and happiness will be part of my daily routine.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a spacious yard where dogs can enjoy fresh air and playtime, safe for outdoor fun. For exercise, I can also take dogs on leashed walks around the neighborhood or to nearby pet-friendly areas. Inside my home, pets have a comfortable and safe environment with plenty of space to relax, play, and feel at ease. I make sure fresh water is always available, follow their feeding schedule exactly, and give them lots of affection and attention. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and keep routines consistent — from walks and play to feeding and medication (if needed). I make sure your pet feels loved and secure until you return. Your pet’s comfort and happiness are my top priorities — they’ll be treated like part of the family from the moment they arrive.

Pets

A typical day

I love keeping pets active, happy, and comfortable. Depending on their age, energy level, and what the owner prefers, I’ll include things like: • Daily Walks & Sniffaris 🐾 – not just exercise, but letting them explore scents, which keeps their minds engaged. • Playtime 🎾 – fetch, tug, or squeaky toys for high-energy pups, or gentle games for smaller/older dogs. • Training Refreshers 🧠 – practicing simple commands like sit, stay, wait helps build confidence and consistency. • Cuddle & Relax Time 🛋️ – for pets that love snuggles, I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention and comfort. • Interactive Toys & Enrichment 🧩 – puzzle feeders, lick mats, or frozen Kongs to keep them mentally stimulated. • Companion Time with Kai (my pup) 🐶 – if approved, friendly dogs may enjoy some safe, supervised social time with my puppy, who loves making new dog friends. Most importantly, I tailor activities to each pet’s routine and make sure they get the same love and care they do at home.

Before watching a pet, I always like to understand their routine, personality, and needs. Some key things I’ll ask include: • Health & Medical Needs 🩺 – allergies, medications, recent injuries, or special diets. • Behavior & Temperament 🐾 – are they shy, anxious, playful, or reactive around people/dogs? • Potty Habits & Schedule 🚽 – how often they go out, any potty training details. • Feeding Instructions 🍲 – type of food, portion size, and feeding times. • Exercise Level 🎾 – high-energy adventurer or more of a relaxed walker. • Training Cues & Commands 🧠 – words or hand signals they already know (so I can be consistent). • Comfort Items & Preferences 🛋️ – favorite toys, places to sleep, or things that help them feel safe. • House Rules 🚪 – are they allowed on furniture, beds, or do they need to be crated when alone? This way, I can make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and at home while they’re with me.
