I live on a ranch with very energetic working dogs, used to getting a great deal of exercise. Several years ago I had an accident that left me unable to give the dogs the attention they needed. Gabrielle Schlitzkus came up regularly and would give them the attention and exercise they needed. Tirelessly. My dogs loved her! She was also firm with them, which is just as important as the exercise. During that season, Gabrielle got a dog of her own. A puppy of a small "lap breed." It was a true joy, watching her raise that pup. Her love and affection for the dog was heartwarming. At the same time, she raised her to be well mannered and a "good citizen." Gabrielle made sure the dog was gentle and easy to be around, good about her food and aware of the people around her. The dog, Brooke, is now around 7 years old and a great little dog. She brings her to my home occasionally and she's very good with other dogs. A testimony to Gabrielle's canine management. I'd strongly recommend her.

I have watched Gabrielle Schlitzkus care for her dog and the dogs of others for the past 7 years. She is kind and patient but she is the leader of the pack. She housebroke her dog, taught her to sit, stay, lay down, play dead, speak, hi-five, dance, and choose what hand a treat is in. Brook is obedient, loving and a pleasure to be around thanks to Gabrielle’s upbringing. Gabrielle also makes sure Brook takes a walk at least two times a day.
