My partner Meg and I work from home during the week, she is the other half of this operation. We love having dogs around and between the two of us we are able to be with them usually 24/7. Your dog will be a part of our little family while you are away, they’ll live the same spoiled life that June does with lots of attention, treats, walks and freedom around the house. We do not use a crate unless you prefer we do (and provide one).

*Please be aware we live on the third floor if your dog has trouble with stairs.* June lives a comfortable life in our home, she is allowed on furniture and in our bed. Your dog will have the same privileges. June eats twice a day and goes for a walk several times a day. There are multiple large empty fields near our apartment we frequently regularly. There is also a dog park in our complex, we do not use it much but when it’s slow we sometimes stop by on a walk. Meg works from home and my schedule is flexible so there is no shortage of attention to give. We usually do one longer walk or activity per day.

We live in on the third floor of our apartment building and we do not have a yard. We make up for it with regular walks and hikes. Meg and I know it’s expensive to find someone trust worthy to watch your pet while you’re away. We know it’s hard to leave them, but it helps to know they’re in good hands and will be loved while you’re gone. That’s what Meg and I will be for your pet! We’ll always communicate how things are going and any questions we have to help us give your furry friend the care they need while you’re gone.
Ein typischer Tag
Meg and I wake up around 7, June and I take our morning walk to the empty field near our apartment. Sometimes we just walk, sometimes we play fetch. Breakfast for June comes shortly after. Around lunch we’ll take June for another walk around the area. After work we’ll do take a longer walk or drive somewhere to walk/hike with more scenery. Dinner is between 5-7 for all of us and then we all hang out until bedtime.

I have had dogs my whole life and pet sat privately for years before joining Rover. Most of them rescues who need constant attention and training. I have seen a lot! I know how different and particular dogs can be. I have an excellent ability to understand behaviors and make myself as approachable as possible for each different scenario while getting familiar with a new dog. I have a quiver of fun activities for active dogs and plenty of pets for those who are more low key!

Gabe and Meg were wonderful for our 2yr old Beau! They sent updates and loved on our Beau like their own. He seems to have really enjoyed his visit and play session with their dog, June, as he was a happy and tired pup on pickup! I wish we knew them sooner on our travels to OR, they are wonderful!
Meg and Gabriel are both very kind and took very good care of my older pup Stitch. They treated him like their own pup and I felt that he was in good hands. Thank you!
Gabriel was fantastic! I got daily updates about Carl with pictures. Carl and June met before the stay to ensure that they were compatible, which they definitely were. Carl came home today and he has been moping around our house missing June since he got home. Will definitely use it again. :-)
Our dog was well taken care of! I the past he has been anxious-shredding up his bed and not eating- when staying away from his home. Not with Gabe! He ate and enjoyed walks, snuggles and even a new doggy friend! Thank you Gabe!
